  1. Unfortunately the Chaffee appeared late in the war and its hard to find many scenarios if any using it. When the next module for FB is released there should be more.
  2. The US Army Green Books are always a good reference and you can read them online https://history.army.mil/html/bookshelves/collect/usaww2.html
  3. With regard to the shell ricochet from the turret into the co-drivers position, that early model Panther does not have the "chin" armor. I'm not sure if the shot trap is modeled in CM but if so there's a perfect example.
  4. I think he was joking he typed jk at the bottom. Unless that's his initials.
  5. Just another reason you gotta love this game.
  6. I recently read No Better Place To Die by Robert M. Murphy a pathfinder in the 505 PIR. Excellent book if you want the history by someone who fought there.
  7. Hope your recovery continues man. In the mean time use CM as part of the treatment!
  8. Hope you're on the road to recovery Chris. Thanks for the honest post. My mom is a breast cancer survivor also I'm glad your girl beat it.
  9. Check out Pen and Sword's Battleground Europe series. Also Rhineland: The Battle To End The War by W. Dennis Whitaker and Caen Anvil Of Victory.
  10. Just got it last week. Its up to read next. Check out the documentary March 1945 on Amazon Prime video. Very detailed description of the battle by the Cologne Cathedral. I believe someone posted a link on the forums.
  11. The Bitter Woods by John S.D. Eisenhower and Snow And Steel by Peter Caddick-Adams are 2 excellent ones I've read. There's plenty more but those will keep you busy!
  12. I find it hard to believe ANY tank is going to shrug off multiple 203mm rounds. If nothing else the size of the projectile will cause damage besides the HE.
  13. Stairs!? We don't need no stinkin stairs! Another strange CM surprise!
  14. Panther commander lost to him in a poker game and refused to pay up? Or Panther commanders wife paid gunner to whack him.
  15. There's plenty of info in Hunnicutt's book. The later production model T26E4 eliminated the external springs and the gun was later able to use 2 piece ammunition.
  16. That would be nice instead of wasting charges to breach a flimsy wall like that.
  17. I love it. There's no other game that captures the chaos of a battlefield better than CM. You do good camera work btw a lot of different angles and heights well done.
