Unfortunately the Chaffee appeared late in the war and its hard to find many scenarios if any using it. When the next module for FB is released there should be more.
With regard to the shell ricochet from the turret into the co-drivers position, that early model Panther does not have the "chin" armor. I'm not sure if the shot trap is modeled in CM but if so there's a perfect example.
I recently read No Better Place To Die by Robert M. Murphy a pathfinder in the 505 PIR. Excellent book if you want the history by someone who fought there.
Just got it last week. Its up to read next. Check out the documentary March 1945 on Amazon Prime video. Very detailed description of the battle by the Cologne Cathedral. I believe someone posted a link on the forums.
The Bitter Woods by John S.D. Eisenhower and Snow And Steel by Peter Caddick-Adams are 2 excellent ones I've read. There's plenty more but those will keep you busy!
I find it hard to believe ANY tank is going to shrug off multiple 203mm rounds. If nothing else the size of the projectile will cause damage besides the HE.
There's plenty of info in Hunnicutt's book. The later production model T26E4 eliminated the external springs and the gun was later able to use 2 piece ammunition.
I love it. There's no other game that captures the chaos of a battlefield better than CM. You do good camera work btw a lot of different angles and heights well done.
