    Willing to have a chat mate, but yeah when I get the time again and I finish the Carpiquet project (thread here somewhere) be interesting to see where our ideas cross over. Got a crazy idea for CMBS...

    Chaps, apologies for not catching up on this - Para PM'd me earlier today and ive only just found the right thread
     
    I loved creating the map, it was my first - and it taught me many lessons, mainly that im a map builder and not an AI builder!
     
    I love creating the maps, but im a terrible planner whn it comes to AI, i always thought if i could find a good partnership with a guy who hated mapping but loved AI wed be a good combo
     
    Anyway, i played CMBN until my eyes bled, burnt out, returned, played some more and made a few more maps and then had a HDD crash that lost me the game, and CMSF and CMFI!! I know it was all retrievable, but at the time id had enough
     
    Ive just recently bought CMBS having been a beta tester, but didnt ask for the free copy as i didnt feel id done enough work to warrant it and instantly opened the game and started making a map
     
    I would love to hand over the torch of this map to anyone who wants to take it on, i would have no problem with anyone taking it to the next level - in fact i saw about a year ago a guy on youtube using the map and he claimed credit for it
     
    Feel free, enjoy, after all it was something i did for the community - its only fair the community takes ownership and treats it properly

    Para I can make you a moddified version of the first scenario with the adjustments GhostRider suggested if you would like and PM it to you. I am probably just going to release all the scenarios as a standalone package anyway since everyone still seems to be struggling with the campaign. I have not heard any feedback since I made the last adjustments so I dont know if it helped or not. Maybe I can just take the lessons learned from this one and hopefully make something better in the future (been working on something similar for BS). I do appreciate all the previous feedback as it has helped immensly with the learning curve. I am disappointed I could not get this campaign to offer players what I had intended as alot of time went into it. I guess its difficult to really turn the experience of what the Germans went through in reality during Bagration and replicate it into a workable situation with in the parameters of the game. They pretty much got their a** handed to them and I guess I did replicate that successfully lol.
     
    Anyways I will release the missions as a pack when I get time so those who did not complete the campaign can see how it plays out. I will delete out the story line as it will not be needed but hold onto the modtag folder for the immersion factors, especially since I wanted to showcase Umlauts damage models from his Factory Pack.

    The Russian Player will utterly destroy the German player (if the Russian Player is even slightly experienced).. if your talking about the First scenario, its hard just with the AI..   Spoiler Alert The Soviets outnumber the Germans 5-1 in tanks and about 1.3 to 1 in Infantry, but they have LOTS of Artillery.  I think you could re-create it and tone down some of the Artillery and maybe 3.5 to one in tanks to make it feasible in my opinion.

    All right lads. Now there´s longer any excuse for not making scenarios with my Factory Mod set. As promised long ago I´ve made a guide on how to use the mods. It seems that it turned out to be in the shape of a video.

    Perhaps I went a bit overboard in the process, as it did end up being 10 minutes long. If you want to skip the background part, the how-to part starts at 4:43

    Hopefully, this tutorial will tell you most of what you need to know. If not, that is what this thread (and perhaps future videos) is for.

    aye laddy, we is aimin' for that as well. (slipped into a Marketty-Gardenny kind of attitude for a second...)
     
    The mod will be a general purpose cluster bomb kind of mod to sprinkle into any scenario involving paratroops.
    FJ, Brits, Soviets, US, French DBP, Vatican City...

    Work in progress using lesser used road terrain tiles to allow rotation for a variety of discarded AN-6513 'chutes, harnesses, etc. Sorry no church steeple mod for Sainte-Mère-Église !
