as far as graphics is concerned, if you came to cm series from board games or 2d top down turn based games, the graphics are awesome. keeping the graphics simple and abstract allows lesser computers to play them. and the price is fair too.

How Do You Take A Screenshot?
junk2drive replied to Colonel J Lee's topic in Combat Mission - Tips and Tricks
i have win xp. i push the print screen button right of f12. then windows key between alt and ctrl to minimize. then open paint. then ctrl + v to paste into paint. then save as... once its saved, you can play with the size etc. edit btw when you save as, change it to jpeg if you are going to use it for posting somewhere like forums or cmmods. -

try some of hans' small battles. he is very good at getting you to think about your mission in his briefings. and his maps are good too. sb, east of elba is a good one. fredrocker's angel of sicily is another. fred's scenario page -

mikey, juju, ed and others i have put some peoples mods up at cmmods in the past because of the crash of 03. if anyone wants me to delete a mod under my name, please let me know. i noticed mikey's winter dirt roads are under mikeyd in cmbb and me in cmak. this causes problems for people trying a search by designer. same as astrocat with all he uploaded. any thoughts or comments?

uncle, along similar lines of thought: i saw your mod, dl'd and installed in cmak. looked good to me. it solved my confusion with the ardennes mod. waited for you to post something. debated whether it is proper to post for you. wondered if you were not coming here anymore. i did not want to upset anyone. imo mods that make the game look better, inspire scen designers to make new battles. i wanted those people too see a pic and to let people know they work in cmak too. thanks again for the mod

check out some old cmbo mods with leaves/branches on them for ideas. imho your leaves are too bright. once pulled from the tree, how long would they stay fresh? -

i fired up the demo the other night. the most annoying thing is camera movement side to side. i was surprised how bright the terrain was. -

OFFICIAL PATCH REQUESTS AND BUG THREAD V1.01
junk2drive replied to Michael Dorosh's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
re: sandbags if bfc were to change them, wouldn't that mess up the scens that use them? which brings up the question of what happens to scens made before 1.01? if play balance is found with 1.00 oobs and such, do they still play well with 1.01? if something is removed from the game, does a pre patch scen crash? -
