i dl'd the cmbo cmmos tree mods by ed kinney, richard tremblett, dd, gary kump. i picked the fall color trees from them and renumbered for cmak. then made a zip with gurra's wheat mod. i use ed's cmbo grass, gurra's fall wheat, and juju's treebases. sdog's cmbo paved road with toms fieldpath. mcmmm will strip the cmmos extentions and create new zips. use caution and have a backup.

i recently had a usa bazooka fire from a large building, which promptly caught on fire. at least he hit the marder before he went into panic mode.

i do it like other means said, and put a shortcut on my desktop for ms paint. i also minimize by using the windows key between the alt and ctrl keys. windows key + m will minimize all open windows

i run cc2 and cc5 no problem winxp home, and have spww2 running also with a lot of work. imo once you play cm you wont go back anyway

the more i read the next generation cm threads, the more i wonder what kind of alienware system you will have to buy to play it. i would think that bfc needs to make money from as broad an audience as possible. since the current game is designed to run on older hardware, i dont expect as much change in the new game. cm still beats board games and 2d top down.

pows cannot be "herded" together. they only get so close to another pow, then stop moving. try moving the other pow farther back.

hans, i find your briefings to be just fine. in general: i compare cm briefings to sp series. i imagine myself as a commander in a war. some co's got good info and intel, some didnt. part of life and part of the game. i read the briefing, suspect some of it is bs, and do my own recon.
