was there ever a list of bmp changes in the patch? i the old thread there is mention of a change to a churchill. i have various copies of bmp folders that would need to be patched, then probably remodded.

again my suggestion for a pay for expantion pack. if i was trying to pay the bills for two years. a west front pack for cmak would sell. cmak could stay true to history, would stop some whinning i guess book sales are easier.

i have found that you cant "herd" them. they will only get so close to each other and stop moving. i use tank crews or low on ammo to guard them.

would that be while you are in game? i was hoping to edit a premade text in editor. i suppose if i can save it in game, i can modify with notepad later, then load it back in with editor. -

how about viewing the briefing in editor? i see how to add one but how can i view one in a premade scen? or print/save as .txt ? -

aha, sooner or later you will be addicted to mods. it depends on time of day. there is one at cmmods for mid day iirc, that i use. i have also made my own. iirc it takes three bmps to make the 360 that you see. i.e. dawn, sunrise-dimlight-dark

i cant get the zip to open, tried zip genius and windows xp. -
allies is a big term. there is a nice tan british one at cmmods. there are a lot of cmbo uniform mods that have helmets. dd's, andrew's at cmhq. if youre brave, dl them and try. or i can email you a couple, no guarantee they work. make sure you have a copy of the original.

i would rather send bfc money for an expansion pack that would address our wishes. that way the "game" stays true to history as they see it.

not getting on my nerves, i'm getting an education. hard to make your own battles if you dont have a clue as to what is appropriate.

there are a lot of good cmbo mods that just dont work stock in bb ak. thanks for working these out. i know how much effort it is to get things to look right. -
and lw italian paras iirc still have torso on arms, legs, hat and sides. but this is a game engine problem, dont try to fix it.

you will learn about russian arty the hard way. their generals were not as good as you do a search for complaints about russian arty. the bombs may fall on time, but maybe 1k meters away. or right side wave of green troops may hear a gunshot and run backwards, leaving your left side vets unsupported. thats what i like about cm. doesnt always go as planned.

in my japanese infantry bmp folder, i have a subfolder with unknown bmps. some of them are on your list. 9486-9491 is LW vehicle crew 5/41to9/43 i dont see the rest on my list

my point was that the games are biased toward fans of the axis. compare the number of icons in 11240 for cmbo, cmbb and cmak. granted bb was a leap forward from experience gained. look at how many russian variants. now look at cmak's allied icons and all the empty spaces. we have an icon for usa mountain troops and mechanised but no portraits. and still no answer on my airborne question 10feb04. (rangers, darby's rangers, fssf in north italy but nothing but reg. inf. till 1/45 lw) they gave the romanians in bb axis and allied uniforms, why not vichy french and free french? yeah i know they were not a factor in the med (francofans might argue) maybe i could count the bmps and see that bb and ak are the same. maybe there isnt room in the game for more allies. maybe allied players will buy anything so dont worry about them. it's still a good game and nothing else like it. too bad it isnt better. and it is just a game, my life will go on.

i will continue to support bfc and like these games, but i find it annoying that the axis has a change of clothes for every day and different sleeves, armor and vehicles for every engineering change, paint scheme, small arms and rare equipment. how many icons on 11240 bmp, portrait slots etc. oh, we will need some allies to fight. no room on a cd, well the cw all have the same stuff. couple of usa and we are done. off my soapbox for now

wicky, could we have a nose without the spare track on it? i use different tracks and they dont match. picky i know, but i would make me happy.

update to pics in the second pic, wheat bmp is replaced by stock marsh bmp with verticle wheat pinked out. i copied and renumbered the verticle grass bmp in the bottom pic to represent island grass fields. big difference in effect. -
