Install direct X 9.0c from Microsoft-I installed a BF-2 on my PC and ask to install DX 9.0c I did and then later I installed CMBO/AK tested for fog/smoke and have both buy doing this also 9.0c redlist also can do it to-installed into DX files fold automatically.

Install 9.0 X redlist. I'm running Win-7 64 Ultimate with fog/everything. On 2-Nvidia-MSI-660-GTX-TI SLI. Also installing Direct-9.0c ontop Direct X 11 will do it to. It puts thoose DX files that support fog...... I got both on mine......

CMAK in choosing unit screen becomes blurry in QB. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I go to CMAK QB to pick unit's all of it goes blurry. Mind you that everything else is fine but that-but sometimes the other stuff kinda blurry too at beginning and choosing options in QB. My system specs: AMD64 Phenom X6-1090t 6-core Asus 990FX sabertooth mobo 8-gb 1600-ddr-3 ram Vid-2-MSI-660 GTX-TI SLI other MSI-560 GTX-TI before where in there and samething. OS-Win-7-64 Ultimate SP-1 Direct-X 11-plus 9.0c x redlist Nvidia-drvrs-313.96 CMBO doesn't have this problem-and I do have smoke graphics in both. When I installed CMAK in this PC then copied BMP files I did accidentally Copied excess files other bmp's into the bmp file. Meaning when I changed BMP file another copy joined it. I haven't tried CMBB yet or installed it to see if that effects that. I tried to see if my orginal disk/backup disk would make a diffence-it didn't. Also another thing diffenent BMP files just show the generic view but not actual BMP view like when your changing bmp file to see it actaul I have to click on it. XP seems to not have that problem you see actual pic/jpeg/bmp etc.

Panther, To me was the best tank of the war or until the Pershing showed up. -Panthers 75mm L/70 was a great gun-could KO ant tank except IS2/3 at long ranges. -Cross country-it was decent when it worked. 1st Panthers in Kursk transmission failed-once fixed it was good-excepted the overlapping road wheels froze in the winter-should of went with Christie suspension-T-34/Crommwell. Also Panther-II w/ 88mm L/71 would of been good-if this was mass produced-we've been in trouble. T-34 -When it 1st came out-against the lighter gunned PZ-III/IV short 75mm's they couldn't penetrate T-34 armor-once the PZ-IV's got better gun 75mm L/48 then it was in trouble-until T-34/85 arrived. There was a T-34/100 prototype-this would been a decent Tank. Sherman, -Sherman 75mm was a match to PZ-IV-special-once it faced Panthers-plus it Gas engine was it-it blew up like a lighter or Tommy cookers they where called. 76mm reg could of been better-better powder in the AP shells from getting much zip...... -Firefly "17-pndr"-best version or until Isrealis-made the Super Sherman w/90mm gun....... Pershing, USA-Panther/Tiger-hard hitting-could of been in ETO theater earlier"44" but red tape prevented that.... Super Pershing-USA-KT-and there was one battle a Super Pershing K'od a KT with it's longer version 90mm-better then 88mm L/71......

I've 8800GTS 320mb/640mb-they work with CM great with Nvidia G-80 chip-the newer-Nvidia G92 8800GT/ 9600/9800GTX/9800GTX X2/GTX-260/280 cards probly won't work. Also 6800GT's/7800/7900 are a great card for CM..... Nvidia driver I've is 175.63-works well-but after this watch out because the newer drivers have a Pysics/ Cuda driver biuld in-don't work well with the older cards I've stated above...... XP-Pro my OS-Vista-not so good with CM.

I've been running all 3 CM's without a problem. AMD64 X2 4400 DC 3-gigs ram-PC-3200 8800 GTS-320mb XP-pro SP-2 Nvidia drivers 174.93+NV Tray..... Usually might be nvidia drivers or installing new drivers but old drivers still in registry. Install DriverCleaner. There are 2 versions. 1.5 free the 3.0 like $9.99. When you install this. 1st-uninstall drivers on regular mode-then reboot/get to safe mode go to drivercleaner-then pick nvidia driver-click on cleaning until it says finished cleaning. Vista blows and Maxium PC says Vista will be replaced by 2010-UUUUUGGGGGGGG...... Best card would be XFX-8800GS/GT from www.newegg.com-it PCI-E express 2.0. The GS 384mb-GT 512mb and the GS $129.00 GT from $150.00-$200.00. As far as OS-XP pro the Best for CM but you can try XP-Pro 64-can handle the 4-GB ram-but XP can go up to 4-GB but it does show- but it use it.......More the ram the better. Vista was hurried plus MS is trying to trick gamers of Direct-X-10 is better then 9.0c-it isn't-not by much-just so you buy the new OS- Don't believe the hype...... It just might be your Vista OS...... If you get ATI card-stick with Cata-7 drivers you will see fog in CM now......

Mine is average from-35-45 FPS-that's with AMD64X2 4400-3-gigs ram-8800GTS 320mb.....

I've Asus-8800GTS 320/640mb cards- I'm running XP-pro SP-2 and Nvidia's latest drivers 171.16's and I've fog. I boils down to vista-Direct X-10. But 8800 type cards can run fog. All 3 CM/BO/BB/AK work properly on mine.

I've 8800GTS 640mb-pretty good card-if you can get a hold 8800GTS 320mb OC'd type-it's worth the money-450PSW will work good... Stay away from Vista for as least year or 2-still buggy drivers and doesn't work well with CM-Nvidia Fog tables.... AMD64 3700-of possible get AMD-4400 DC there getting cheap....But 3700 still good....

By just playing the Demo-I'm extremely disappionted-I did expect that this game would be like CM series but more. As saying goes-don't fix wait isn't broken. I expected to pick from units from USMC to Army Rangers. I expected that you still could changed skins-BMP's-this gave CM unique then other wargames-change the look-terrian-etc.... The UI still is crappy-the original would of worked fine. Gamespot review was right on-it said the clear truth-it said respectfully-the game hard to play-disappointing graphics-UI,AI,etc- PBEM disappionting-I like pbeming... And off course the AAR and looking who did what on the battle-not CMSF.... I really don't want to say this about this game-but it does-I hope BFC doesn't make WW-II like this game and go back to it's roots.... Make it both CM was and some improvements- if they made this game with this little more improved graphic interface-original UI/AI-this game be smoking in my book. They even forgot cover arcs-those where cool but maybe in completed game but are not in demo. Well anyways really disappionted about the product-I hope they revamp it....

Contact is like the Sneak in 1st CMBO but if the unit get hit-it stops....
