MOD'S UP if cmak only did italy, it could be the moving up the boot thing. as in fall 1944 was farther north, hense different brush and treebases. however its probably just an oversight.

it was setup for second battle in a op. when i moved the jeep to a road and then moved the gun, it did not show embark. it did after the setup phase on turn one. i believe the enemy had a trp on that road or had a preplanned bombardment and i just picked that spot to setup. or there was los by unseen spotter who then called in trp strike.

after playing spww2 and spwaw a while, i found a used copy of steel panthers. was fun to play and see where the series came from. now i wonder if should i buy cmbo. 5-10 years from now will we be looking for a copy?

i spent an hour in the setup phase, first orders were to embark at guns to jeeps, surrounded by a company. hit go. enemy ai clobbered them all with arty. bodies everywhere. start over.

it was CMBB. i was russian against german a.i. possible SPOILER . . . . . . . . . dont remember the name but it was late war, russians moving uphill against retreating germans. very good op. i will look tomorrow and see if i can remember the name.

gone through FJ and WSS, some bmps will have to be renumbered.

most memorable op let me zoom across the map. then with my tanks hull down along a ridge, the enemy reinforcements came on a road to my rear. before i could turn the turrets, thay were all destroyed. my fo was shot down too. taught me to watch my back and dont commit everything to the front.

For those of you playing battles set in north Europe. I zeroed in on a sound contact, and saw a German soldier with a tan helmet, green jacket and tan pants. I then installed Andrew's CMBB Heer uniforms. Now i see dark helmet, jacket and pants. I'm happy.

you can alt-a out of the briefing back to the menu. if that helps save you time.

do i have to change gamma every time i restart my computer? if i lighten in game, it seems lighter on my screen out of game, until the next time i reboot or restart. then next time in game it is too dark. or is it just my imagination? radeon 7000 64mb ddr

i suppose there is no point in keeping an original-original. i use the original and demo bmps for fixing things and got thinking what if they are different. then i got thinking about the patch and which folder was in place when i patched. thanks for the idea.
