Don't forget the superb winter mod for CMRT, that enabled us winter battles and helped to bear the endless wait for FR. -

Killing Russians. There are worse ways to spend your time. -
The real fans will know. So much better to watch than soccer.

Guess your best. CMFI Battle Pack...

Not included. The magnificent MJ Kerner made them for us. -

I hope an exception is made for this Battle Pack and the Ghurkas and Maroccons will be included. Fat chance, I know. -

NOBODY laughs at you, Phil. You are the King of mods and without you I wouldn't have had such a good time with CM. -
Combat Mission Cold War - British Army On the Rhine
Aragorn2002 replied to The_Capt's topic in Combat Mission Cold War
I share your disappointment, but buy this module. It will enable these guys to continue their work and give us the Bundeswehr too, albeit later than we hoped. Another encouraging aspect is that the Cold War team DELIVERS. Within a very reasonable time frame after the base game we're going to see the first module. If it 's correct what Steve said about work on the first module starting not that long ago, we can expect more modules within another year. That's quite a difference with what we saw with for example the FR module, although that was of course a much bigger job. -

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath. To be honest, for me everything that came/comes after CMRT/FR is a bonus. -

Interesting. Personally I dream of being able to play the Manstein counteroffensive at Kharkov in February/March 1943 one day. Preferably a remake of George MC's superb Blowtorch scenarios. Who knows. -

Too late But seriously. The simple fact is that the guys who are making this happen are mainly Americans, Brits and Canadians (I think) and of course they chose their own countries first. I'd do the same. How many Germans, Dutch or Danes are involved in the development of CM? Not many, I bet. Easter egg or not, the other NATO countries will follow sooner or later. For the moment that's enough for me. Had to swallow my disappointment (a glass of good red wine helped a lot), I must admit that, but beggars can't be chosers. BF has it's own way of doing things, because they are individuals with their own preference and business instinct. Not always what I like to see (missing Ghurkas and Maroccans in CMFI is a good example), but there it is. For those magnificent modders at this forum a winter mod for CW won't be that difficult. i hope they will be prepared to make it, if not, I also respect that. It won't be long before the Dutch ground forces are integrated into the Bundeswehr (it's already happening) so that's one worry less for the future. Btw @Lethaface, I've ordered my new CM tailor made PC. Thanks again for all your advice! -

Absolutely agree. But both the Germans and the British should be in. It would be ridiculous to keep one of those two out. The rest matters less, although I still hope the Dutch will be there. -
Excellent. Zero tolerance. You hurt us, we'll hurt you more.
