  1. Yeah, I'm sure they're just sitting around twiddling their thumbs You haven't heard of CMx2?
  2. Dude mad pics, I'm especially interested in the Sentinal as our only truly "fair dinkum true blue home grown" aussie medium tank that could have taken on the panzers or jap tanks and have a fair chance of survival. (No, I'm not talking about taking on Tigers here... but maybe the other stuff that was around in '40 & '41...) I really should pay a visit to Pucka sometime, I only live 2 hours from there.
  3. Ok, a bit OT here but if you've ever seen "Lock, stock, and two smoking barrels" a dude there has a Bren gun he lets rip with during the movie. He has a hard enough time trying to stand up and keep all the shells hitting within an area the size of your average loungeroom - forget running and gunning with one of these. And if you haven't seen L,S,&2SB... see it. (No, it's not WWII)
  4. Mussorgskys "A night on bald mountain" suits it so well, part of the song even comes with the game!
  5. JasonC/Dorosh rematch? Hell, I wanna see him fight Walpurgis Night... if he's still around.
  6. Heh, just toyed around with them - man, talk about outclassed! The pommy churchills would no more than look in their direction and they'd explode!
  7. Still, if there is say several hours between fighting when your reinforcements are brought up it wouldn't be at all unusual to expect said reinforcements to be lined up and in position by the time the next action begins.
  8. Ok cool, can we get a link or something to these scenarios? I checked the Proving Grounds but they don't seem to be there?
  9. Winamp + alt-tab is your friend.
  10. Geez people, what do we want - the game to play itself?!
  11. CM h4x0ring? First time I've ever heard of it happening. Off chance, rarity wasn't set to variable when you played was it?
  12. I'll just put in my 2 cents here... For mine, if CMx2 doesn't have PBEM I won't be losing any sleep over it. But seriously guys, I fail to see why you're all stressing about this one feature - hasn't BFC always come through with the goods? It seems to be whining and carrying on about insignificant details right up until the demo is released then suddenly *POOF* all those worries and qualms have vanished because BFC has delivered... yet again. I have no doubts they will this time too.
  13. Guys, guys, guys, seriously - stop yapping for a minute and let Battlefront.com go back to slaving over a hot computer coding CMx2 or whatever he does. The less time he has to spend on these forums the sooner we get CMx2!
  14. Just a thought here... back when I used to play Total Annihilation, cooperative teamplay had a feature where you could literally "draw" on the map to point out to your opponent where you knew enemy units/buildings were. It would be akin to receiving a map from your allies with known enemy movements/areas on it I guess - except this happens in realtime.
  15. If he wants to play gamey just buy a SHIATELOAD of heavy arty (150mm+) and dump it on him or, even better, as many small, fast firing flak guns as you can afford. Even sturmys get tired of 50+ 20mm flak guns banging away at their hulls in a short space of time!
  16. Yeh, but thats an Italian mortar, all they're really good for is making pasta... and then surrendering.
  17. Australian, because we kicked arse (anyone say Kokoda trail & North Africa?), only problem was there wasn't enough of us to make any huge impact. Oh, and I'd take the Owen gun - nice neat little SMG, if a bit ugly... and impossible to jam.
  18. Cool thanks! That Challenger sounds more like a jet than a tank... Tiger looked cool though.
  19. Damn, you're old enough to be my dad!
  20. Aint played any CM for a couple of months now - can't be stuffed. Don't mind a few hours of Natural Selection though - go the little bitey muthas! Occasionally play a bit of CS and DoD too.
