  1. My Grandfather served with the Royal Australian Artillery in Libya, he injured his back when the breech block on their gun didn't close properly and the shell slid back out - he caught the shell but stuffed his back in doing so. Was sent home for the remainder of the war. Slightly OT (non-WWII), my uncle served on HMAS Voyager but was transferred off it 3 weeks before it collided with HMAS Melbourne in 1964 - the Voyager sank with the loss of 82 men, had my uncle still been aboard theres a distinct chance he would have been killed as he worked in the engine room.

  3. They've been captured by the enemy, then re-captured by your troops. (naturally the enemy troops would remove their sidearms - which is how they come to be unarmed).
  4. A bit OT but I gotta say those are FUGLY lookin tanks!
  5. Played this one, attacked him so he'd growl and show his teeth.
  6. You mean repeating something that's been brought up fifty times before isn't new? Not that any of the movies or historical eras were "new" the first time they were mentioned on the BFC forums. Just out of curiosity, is there really a need to move Combat Mission away from World War 2? Has somebody completed all the levels and killed the boss monster at the end of the game? </font>
  7. I'd say up the skill level of your Axis troops and maybe increase fanaticism? Also make sure your German dudes are "hiding" in their foxholes with covered arcs. (I know it won't work vs a human player unless you have dummy foxholes for em to waste ammo on).
  8. Of course not. The defenders are AUSTRALIANS.
  9. Coz when they're good they're very very good, and when they're bad they're horrid. (The end of the war would have been 2 types of troops - elite veterans of 4-6 years of war, and fresh conscripts just been herded in and given a rifle.)
  10. Avast ye lubbery urine turtles! I be returned from my DoD playage to find there be no accostment here? Where be that sheep molesting git by the name of errrrr, arrrr - Mace it be! Sniveling young prat I'll have his guts for garters I tells ye!

  15. Well I know its the goal of all forum-goers to get your name put into the game by the makers, but I'm not sure if I want in now - might end up in an italian tankette or something!
  16. From the ever-so-popular FAQ: (I just love that sentence)
  17. Nice work dude, I'd like to see an online/html version done - and even started one myself for CMBB, but ran out of time and interest.
  18. Yeh send it over to me please. BulletRat81@yahoo.com
