  3. Hi all This sounds a rather interesting little project. Look forward to its release. Any idea when ? CMAK version ? Cheers
  4. Hi I would love this too and really regret that BFC did not include these AFVs (and few others) in CMAK but I think you will find they have stated repeatedly that they wont devote any time to such a patch/upgrade as all hands on deck for CMX2. Again a real pity but a fact nonetheless........ Cheers
  5. Hi all Tad dissapointed about setting for new game and highly unlikely I will buy it but at least now we know. Will just have to wait for WWII.............such is life I have had years of pleasure and great value for money from CM series and will continue to do so. I am actually more than ever dissappointed that CMAK was never upgraded to include the 'missing' AFVs etc C'est la vie............
  6. Hi all PC (Pbem): CMBO/CMBB/CMAK (of course !) East Front II/West Front CCG : Last Crusade Miniatures : 6mm WWII using Spearhead/GHQ/Blitzkrieg Cmdr rules 15mm WWII using Battlegroup PzGrenadier rules 15mm Ancients using Might Of Arms/DBM 15mm Seven Years War using Shako/Piquet Board : Solo efforts with Squad Leader & PzBliz/Leader tied into using as minis rules. Just getting back into Pattons Best Exploring Cyberboard/Vassal for other games but cant get my head around the systems In other words way too much at once as ever
  7. I appreciate the problem here with file sizes but this would be a major blow to lose Pbem !!! I do hope they find some workaround...........
  8. Hi MM et al As I simply wish CMx2 to be 'deluxe' CM there is not a lot I would wish changed but improvement that would bring me most joy would have to be 1. Convoy Command I am sure I will think of more..........
  9. Hi all Still playing CMBO and I agree it has less 'simulation' quality than CMBB/AK but it is fun Such a pity (even though I understand their reasons) that BFC did not include such things as King Tigers and Cromwells in CMAK :-( Cheers
  10. Hi Looking forward to this one as well any idea of release date for UK cinemas ? Cheers
  11. Hi Franko I would appreciate a copy I guess a address would help sgt.steiner@virgin.net Cheers Gary
  12. Hi all Hard to believe its been nearly 4 1/2 years since I D/L'd the 1st demo for CM !!! Then my first ever internet purchase when the game initially came out USA only !! Truly the best wargaming experience since Squad Leader. Have a super Christmas
  13. Hi all This is great entertainment reminds me of all those Battle/War Picture Library comics I read many moons ago as a mere lad Cheers
  14. Hi all Call Of Duty for quick immersive online fun IL2 and venerable European Air War (both at dumbest pilot settings !) Little bit of Eastern/Western Front by PBEM Would love to try the Vasl system for SL or ASL but nowhere to set up the game boards near to PC and more importantly just no spare time to devote to re-learning 'THE GAME' :-( Oh and I do still manage the odd tabletop miniatures game (had a 6mm Eastern Front bash just the other day). Cheers
  15. Hi Harry Great stuff, interesting to see total lack of snow in Jan'45, also interesting is 'herd-instinct' of GIs at rear of the tanks prior to crossing the bridge. Cheers Gary
  16. Hi Dalem I see you have the miniatures ruleset Might Of Arms, a superb set IMHO All this nostalgia about SL/ASL has me wanting to dig out the games again ! As per others here I had pretty much stopped playing SL long before CM appeared due to marriage/kid/job issues. CM series (and EF/WF before it) has certainly given my wargaming an International flavour via Pbem. I do miss the intimate social interaction (ie arguing ! ) and tactile elements of Boardgaming especially rolling the little cubes with dots on them I still play miniatures games but never as much as I would like and it must be 3-4 years since I actually played any board wargame (I do on occassion take one out to 'fondle' though )whereas I play several CM Pbem turns just about every single day and peruse these forums and many others like them............ Cheers
  17. Hi With my win : loss ratio being what it is, it is a damn good thing that I too enjoy the game for its own sake Like yourself I want my cake but want to eat it too , I love the CM system as a simulation and game system in itself but I also love Mods and the ability of graphics to 'draw me in' to the game environment. Being a wargamer who comes from background of Miniatures as well as Boardgaming I guess I like the 'paint-jobs' as much as the actual units in game ability. As regards MD excellent ASL Mods I found I used them in their entirety for a while (more as a nostalgia thing I guess) but then went back to 'standard' CM appearence (although I still use a good deal of his mods for interface/menus and suchlike). I think that BFC are to be much appluaded for giving us the open-ended option to Mod the game graphics to our own satisfaction and the work of the modders like yourself is much appreciated in this neck of the woods for giving me so many options. Progs like CMMOS and McMMM make things so smooth too (think back to early CMBO mods and having to switch them all in and out manually  ) Personally I see CM as greatest invention since the wheel but then I am easily impressed Cheers
  18. Hi all I notice nothing for any possible frontal penetrations (or is that on a different sketch ?. Interesting stuff Cheers
  19. Hi Battlefront Forums, CM Mods, Scenario Depot each visited on daily basis if possible
  20. Hi Jorge Did'nt Audace do an excellent Italian Theatre M10 Wolverine for Cmbo as well ? Cheers
  21. Hi The lack of Cromwells in CMAK would sadly make any Villers Bocage scn ahistorical at best. Shermans would be reasonable approximation but just not the same.......... Pity really
