What's not shown is that because of the shear mass of the Tiger, it sheered the tree off at ground level and it's just about to topple over. The TC got a little squeezed in the process though. 🤣

What's truly remarkable and noteworthy here is @FlammenwerferX is actually playing something other than Red Thunder!  A CMFB PBEM against me and another CMFB battle going on at the same time too??  What is happening??  🤣

Finally, just had to share...
My paratroopers are having that kind of day.  Calling my 81mm arty support down on a line of hedgerows about 650m away, this German AFV takes a lucky round right through the top armor...


 

I played Lemon Hill, PBEM, me as the Americans and completely fell victim to thinking this would be a piece of cake, I mean, it's the Americans against the Italians right?  Those mortars devastated me.  It was eye opening.
 

I'll generally arrange my platoons and companies into whatever formation I think makes sense for the situation (line, column, wedge (one up, two back), vee (two up, one back)), and then give group orders for the whole platoon or company, confident that if the group does run into the enemy they'll at least be in a sensible formation. That does a lot to manage the complexity of a large formation in the early 'movement to contact' phase of a battle. But once contact is made, enemy positions are revealed, and I start forming more detailed plans, I see no alternative but to start giving more detailed orders to individual squads and teams. I just accept that I'll spend more time on each turn and play fewer turns per day for larger scenarios.

Stalingrad Baricady factory, nearly complete.

Behind the Baricady Factory, in Stalingrad, is the admin and school buildings, this is school number 2, I have no idea what it looks like ground level, but ok from above... anyone got any images of this area?
