    NOTES:
    MISSION = RATE OF FIRE
    · p/barrel = rounds fired per min per single barrel at selected rate of fire i.e. Harass
    · p/unit = rounds fired per complete unit i.e. all barrels in action
    · Max = time to expend all rounds when firing all barrels at selected rate of fire
    · Apart from 81mm Mortar then all other weapons appear to have the same rate of fire for Medium and Heavy... Maybe further testing needed
DURATION = TOTAL ROUNDS PER MISSION
    · p/barrel = rounds fired per barrel over duration of mission. Nebelwerfers fire by multiples of its salvo.

Here is a much briefer US Arty chart dated the same:
    CMBN US Artillery Characteristics
Rate of fire is 1 round per x seconds.
Duration is in rounds, or minutes if m suffix.

Re ammo bearers IIRC they have to belong to the same formation - I think that means the same platoon.

Well, maybe they are pointing out their friends?
Or: "This is the one to surrender to.  It has great AC and Central Heat."

Erwin got a reaction from Freyberg in C2 & Information Sharing (REDUX)
The issue with desire for "more realism" is that RL issues are often frustrating and annoying.  That is not what one wants in a game - primarily aimed at the entertainment market who play for fun and relaxation.  Desire for more and more detail and "realism" is what sent the cardboard wargame industry almost into oblivion in the 80's as the vast majority of customers gave up trying to play increasingly complex and "unplayable" games.

    NOTES:
    MISSION = RATE OF FIRE

Probably cos I learned originally on CM1 which was able to feature maps up to 8Km x4Km I have always preferred huge maps/scenarios.  The additional advantage is that mobility can become a vital aspect of the game.  (ie;  Halftrack and trucks can be used the way they should be - not sent close to the front lines etc.)
On a huge map there also becomes a genuine reason for vehicular recon.  On a small map you may as well not have any recon or light vehicles, or dismount em all.

It's good that you take a well-earned break, Olek.  Too many talented folks burn out and disappear.  Or they promise the earth and cannot deliver etc.

While am sure that we can all agree with the preceding statements, the relativity of the discussion is quite simple and yet complex.  While the explicit comments are unassailable in the relative sense it can be argued in the reverse directions as well.
    This may help:

Am in US at present.  Played the UTube version in two parts last night.  Didn't realize it was quite such an old (2002) movie.  But as you said good performances and interesting to see Churchill at the end of his depressing "wilderness years".   Also to see the lovely young Lena Headey b4 "Game of Thrones" fame.
Interesting re how much C was hated by elements in the establishment who were trying to do him in for his non-politically correct speeches re Germany while he was popular amongst many "commoners" - couldn't help see the contemporary parallels with Trump.

+1   That also works when one is attacking.   I love having a huge map and starting with recon forces, then having major forces available, but having to decide on transport to the best locations to conduct an attack while simultaneously having to assign sufficient forces elsewhere to defend.  And also having enuff forces to allocate reserves.  (It's a major reason why I still play CM1.  YOu can have up to 8Km x 4Km and more than a Regiment(!) on each side with a few companies of AFV's and many transports and Recon AC's etc.)
BTW:  If anyone is interested, a CMBB "Birthday Bash 13" tourney on a 3Km x 3Km map with above size forces on each side is just starting and has open slots at WeBOB:  https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/webandofbrothers/invitiation-to-participate-in-bb13-round-4-t19054.html

It looks very much like the Priest Kangaroo pic above, but the center armor plate between the circular "pulpit" and the driver's position is missing(!).  I think my mystery vehicle is some sort of incompatibility/conflict between two mods.
Am sure the mod is "Aris M7 Priest Mod_Heavily Weathered" as it has the number "13" and "S-230576" written on the vehicle.  But, I canna figure out why it is interfering with the M5 mod.   My problem is that I have SO many mods in my Z that some may not be working correctly in the latest CM2 version.
It's no biggy and I can't see why it would spoil the scenario.  I wonder if it will function in the game as an M5 or as a Priest Kangaroo.
    ****
Ok, So I removed the 2 Priest mods (the 2nd was "Aris M7B1 Priest CMBN v2") exited CMBN to desktop and restarted CMBN and then loaded the game.  The vehicle is STILL the messed up Priest Kangaroo!  For some reason the game is not picking up the "Aris_M5 Lendlease HTs Mod".  But, surely I should at least be seeing the default BF M5.
Is there any way the game could be finding some other mod(s) not in the Z folder and conflicting?

"...this seems to be a recurring statement by you Erwin and I can appreciate they may start to feel that way for you, but that is your perception and not one I’d agree with."
Jeez...  Olek asked me a question and I responded.  Cos you don't agree with my "perception" or "opinion" you could have simply responded to Olek and let him (or anyone else interested in his question) make up his own mind.
To reiterate:  When I was injured I got to play a LOT.  8 hours/day for years.  I found that all the WW2 titles started to seem the same to me in terms of gameplay.  It's as if one broke up CM1 into its various theatres and eras and tried to play em as separate games.  They games would basically all play pretty much the same with graphical differences.

You are doing great work Olek.
It amazes me that every few years, or when a new CM2 game comes, out there is at least one talented person like Olek, who almost single-handedly changes the look with large quantities of xnt mods.
Eg: Over the years, we've enjoyed the incredible game graphics changing work of Aris/Fuser, and Kieme and many others.
Sadly, they all burn out eventually.  So, plz pace yourself, Olek.
