KV2 - a real inf killer!
Jussi Köhler replied to Panzer76's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Not bad Do you think you could rack up similar kills against a human opponent My preordered copy should arrive today in the mail, so I can start trying out similar scenarios... Damn, never have I felt more impatient to get off work... EDITED: Wife called that the Finnish Pony Express came through. One copy of CMBB awaits me at home!! W00T W00T! BTW, the pic doesnt work for me, I just get the Angelfire banner/pic... EDITED: Pic worked when copy/pasted the URL. How many kills did the KV-2 get? Thanks Parabellum for these GREAT pics!!! If I were in your pants (thank God I´m not, def. prefer my own) I would NOT be taking screenshots for this ungrateful bunch Keep ´em coming, Jussi -
Excuse me, but the only ones armed with Aquavit in the Finnish-Russo war were the Swedish volunteers who brought it with them from Sweden... We Finns found the bouquet too refined for our taste, preferring a little motor-oil mixed with vodka straight from a 37mm shell-case... Steve, How are pre-sales going in USA?
Jussi Köhler replied to japinard's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
CMBB pre-sales in Finland seem to go pretty well indeed. Player One shows CMBB as the 4th most sold game(I think this is a weekly changing list) at the moment, 3rd in PC-games... This isnt even the only place in our backwards country where you can pre-order so I would guess that we are propably talking about 4 figured numbers... And I've received the image that we (Backward Finns) are not very keen on pre-ordering anything... Wait till it hits the stores... Jussi -
Steve, this site has CMBO for ~20 euros... I've seen it for similar prices on the shelf for quite some time here in Finland this summer. I´m certain that if a certain person is not willing to pay up the "full" price for CMBO at one store, he might find it for conciderably cheaper somewhere else... There is a competition going on between stores you know...? Jussi

Ordering in the UK?
Jussi Köhler replied to Jeff Cansell's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Let me tell you that I would be quite upset if my manual turned out to be written in Swahili But as it seems you gotta order the original US CMBB through a mate, end of story... Jussi -
Ordering in the UK?
Jussi Köhler replied to Jeff Cansell's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I just noticed that the Finnish game imorter Plan 1 has a release date of 30th of September for CMBB. If this is the average in Europe I wouldnt say our situation is that poor... 1. If I can go to a shop in Helsinki and take 1 copy of CMBB from the shelf on the 30th and start playing Im only 2-3 days behind you americans who have ordered it by mail... 2. I will receive a 233 page Finnish manual as well as the english one. This is really just a bonus for me, nice though... Jussi -
Yep, just press "GO" Jussi

One CMBB bug and one casualities anomaly(?)
Jussi Köhler replied to Jussi Köhler's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Sorry, I thought I posted this in the TechSupport forum, my bad. Jussi -
Hi! I just played The Yelnia Stare scenario as axis and checked the casualities report after the game. I had a total of 25 casualities, but just when I counted the allies T-34 kills it added up to 49... Whats with that?? Heres a link to my AAR-screen: http://koti.welho.com/jkohler/Yelnia%20Stare.cme In the Citadel Scherpunkt scenario i played allies. After I had ko:d one of the Panzer IV:s every single time I selected the crew of it the game crashed back to the desktop and I got a Unhandled exception:c0000005 At address:737705b9 error. Im on WinXP Pro. Link to saved game: http://koti.welho.com/jkohler/Citadel%20Schwerpunkt.cme PS: Bone: Here is a nice Britney pic =D: http://koti.welho.com/jkohler/britney%20spears Jussi
