  1. IMO when making a fire command and if the game *knows* that some unit cannot use a weapon in its current state (buttoned/unbuttoned/shreck inside a building), the UI should somehow show it. Maybe show the firing line with some warning colour (like red or orange) or something? There were some similar cases in CMSF and it took me quite a while to find out.

  5. Agree. I think landing will be tested later this year. I wonder how well can drone SW detect situations when landing would fail and it should try again?

  7. The story said "border drones are used strictly for surveillance. ", but who knows whether they are carrying weapons - just in case.

  10. I agree that sometimes it would be nice if units could leave a place when being fired. But this should be possible for AI units also. So IMO the best solution would be implementing triggers where some event causes an action. Like "if fired with heavy weapons (tanks/guns/arty), move to position X". or "after 10 minutes move to position Y" Something like this could take scenarios to another level.
  11. Road train test: 125 miles in Spain
  12. IMO this is very scenario specific. Depends on who made the scenario. The basic idea is exactly the same as in CMx1 scenarios.

  14. That is needed. Especially when you consider how slow it is to change AT-gun's position. You want to find the right place at first attempt.
  15. RAM is cheap. With 64bit apps you can actually use the extra memory.
  16. I don't know if this Chech movie from 1955 fits the list, but surely done in a different style than films today. a short action clip here: and the whole 90 minute film here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTuRNbMgywc
  17. Of course it's a very rare event that you manage to attack an AT gun from this direction and thus not a very important thing to change, but I thought I'd mention it.
  18. In a scenario I was playing I saw this: My infantry approached an enemy AT gun placed in the edge of forest. The gun was pointing towards the infantry. Then also a tank of mine approached the gun from behind. Once it spotted the gun it immediately used smoke towards the gun and probably wanted to reverse to safety. Fortunately at this point the turn ended and I could change orders. Use weapons instead of smoke -> gun destroyed.
