Unfortunately no, since the Force Adjustment modifier can only be applied to the "attacker" side for some reason. Hopefully, some day that will change.

couple things. 
1 Maps can get a lot larger than that person apparently realizes or perhaps it was written when we still had the 4x4km limit.
2 Even a 4 km map is huge.  Today's vehicles are a lot more alert to being fired upon.  A missile fired from 4 km by a vehicle that has to guide the missile in is likely dead before it's missile can hit.
3. Even if it isn't APS can still eliminate the missile.
4. It doesn't take much to miss at that distance against a moving target.  Undulations in the ground, trees, houses etc.
5 even with all that you will still see missile kills in CM, it is just hard to get away with.  They are accurate at distance, if by chance you get to fire one and not get spotted. The modern battlefield is lethal.  Sitting still is not a good thing.

Nothing crazy about it at all. First let me remove all doubts you may have about the map: It's a correctly made Allied attack style map. The attacker setup is East. The Axis Defender is West. In the QB Game setup screen the player Gets to choose who attacks and who defends. You picked the Germans to attack and they did... from the East. Just like the QB Map was made.

real quick one before c3k yells at us for going off topic - The Ten Thousand was my favorite Harold Coyle.  The other one I really liked was Cauldron by Larry Bond.

Comp. HQ needs to stay out of the fight as they are important when it comes to points. They can call in arty and overwatch the battlefield.
Snipers are more or less useless in CM2/3 . They can be used for recon but as soon as they start to fire they are dead ... which is absurd of course but thats BF logic

I feel that the best way to address this would be to enable the Force Adjustment % modifier to be applied to both sides instead of just the one.

I think its not in the game, like so many other engine features that would be needed to really simulate modern combat (2017).
For me BS is a Vehicle Pack (reskin) to SF.

Since the day the wall fell Russia has simply been too corrupt to help.  Under Yeltsin it was incompetently and chaotically corrupt, under Putin the state has been very efficiently looted by a small number of his friends. While the petty officials just publish a rate sheet of the bribes required for their services, or simply to get out of the way.  At a $120 a barrel there was enough to steal and still feed everyone, at $60 per barrel its a problem.

That Canadian Tank Destroyer commander sure knows how to get situational awareness.
 
He and his accompanying Sherman cruisers were in the process of demolishing a couple of Stug platoons -- Sauerkopfs -- somewhere near the Gustav Line in May 44 -- this was a lull in the fighting where the TD was 50 yards behind the Shermans.
 
Week one of CMFI + GL + 3.0 -- All it needs from what I can see it hit decals off the tracks. Other than that, it's pretty darn perfect.

The debt is higher than the assets and the profits that were supposed to pay that debt have vanished.  Yes Russia has money, but that money is fast disappearing when the financial controls are being used to try and protect oligarch friends and poor foreign policy versus the Russian economy.  It gives me no satisfaction to see that millions of Russians are again going to suffer from a leadership that doesn't care about them.  It is true pretty much everywhere, but I think Russia is going to be the poster child next year for disaster economies.

It was a painful period for Russia, but eventually the crisis eased, and the following year Yeltsin named a new prime minister — Vladimir Putin.

Putin's antagonistic relationship with the West means no such help is likely this time.

No, this is more.. I don't even know the word for it, the idea of what Putin's actions would be or the kind of things he does gets greatly exaggerated and sometimes things are just said and believed because you know, he's Putin - of course he is a mainaical crazy man twirling his mustache waiting to nuke the world...

The truth about Putin and the way things work in my country are people like him are concerned about their personal power. Toss a nuke and his power is gone. Really being president is a show off thing for him. He's not an idiot and he is not going to destroy his kingdom by throwing a hissy fit and launching nukes, certainly not over Ukraine.
