  1. Happy about all of those things, and the idiots should be too!
  2. It's amazing what people that are looking out a slit or a periscope, probably dirty and through smoke, don't see during the stress of combat. I think it simulates reality pretty well.
  3. Too many negative waves for such a beautiful thing baby. CM has never disappointed me, so when BFC makes 'em, I buy 'em.
  4. That is gorgeous. Has the look of reality.
  5. In a combat situation, if there is little time to check on things, tighten lugs, etc, then the problems are going to seem sudden and unpredictable, but you can bet they were the result of cumulative occurences. It's like any mechanical device. It may function perfectly until the day it doesn't, but chances are whatever happened could have been predicted and possibly even prevented with enough oversight.
  6. An Oddball sound mod and a Mord sighting along with the Bridge teaser. Good day in CM land...a good day.
  7. Appreciation for freedom is a quality that far too few possess in these times of me me me. And immersion is what makes CM my all time favorite.
  8. There are people who joined before me with less than 8 posts but this is a great idea. I love their work, and I too, am very OCD about having things the same, including the mods.
  9. I guess. It's just the way I think about it. Freyberg's comment about artillery is true if you crowd behind your scouts.
  10. A squad never goes anywhere a scout hasn't gone. A platoon never goes anywhere a squad hasn't gone. A vehicle never goes anywhere infantry hasn't gone. Et al...
  11. 2 is good. Anyone who wants bglow will survive until you get back around to it.
  12. Serious wargaming is what I find more fun anyway, so +1 to that. My idea of a good game involves half an hour of recon before a shot is ever fired. Thoroughly enjoyed everything you've put out over the years, PT.
  13. I'm looking forward to the ones they've already talked about, like the E-50 and E-75 et al.
  14. Definitely correct if by repair, you mean the time it takes to bail out, hoof it to the rear, and discuss recovery and repair at a much later date.
  15. That is an excellent find. Really good reading.
