  1. @Vin...and if I did my job right you'll never figure it out. I specifically muddled it so nothing in particular would stand out. Glad you ended up liking it. @PSKW...Yeah, that's a damned good compliment, thanks. @ridethe415...see the other thread. I posted some test files that worked for Buzz. Hopefully they'll work for all Mac dudes. Mord.
  2. Ok. Try this it's a small test. It worked for Buzz. It's just the two vanilla idle files plus two Abrams files (idle and movement). Let me know what if these work for you. Take any vehicle sound mods out of your z folder first of course so mine are sure to play. https://www.dropbox.com/s/qlg6adiu3s8gu39/Mord_Chatter_Test.zip?dl=0 Mord.
  3. Well, I started a thread on this issue but no one is bothering to respond so there isn't a whole lot more I can do based on the info I have. Mord.
  4. I am trying to figure out why my sound mod isn't working with some Macs (or possibly any). I made a specific version just for Macs at 48,000Khz but I may not need it because akd's mod is working for Mac users and it's using the PC properties at 44,100khz. So, I need to know if any Mac users are using the Mac version of the mod and that it is or isn't working. If it isn't working I'd ask you to DL the PC version and let me know what happens there. Thanks. Mord.
  5. You aren't bothering me. I make mods so people can enjoy them so when they don't work for some I need to figure out why. Try installing the PC version and let me know if that works. So far nothing is working for Buzz, who is also on a Mac. Mord.
  6. Buzz and I are testing something. If it goes right I may have found the problem. Get back to you guys having the problems in a bit. Mord.
  7. I'll see your Sammy Hagar...and raise you some Don Felder. I own that soundtrack BTW. Classic Movie with great music. Mord.
  8. All very fitting Heavy Metal for the heavy metal that's in Black Sea... Mord.
  9. Will make you wanna punch babies and bounce checks.
  10. Yep, actually that might go all the way back to CMBO. Too many years now to remember. Mord.
  11. LOL. I was wondering what was up will all those periods after nearly every word. Ain't it ironic, they invented phones so people wouldn't have to type and now people spend more time typing then talking on them. I don't think Stalin trusted anyone especially after his screwing by Hitler. And if memory serves, Patton was pretty big on absorbing the German army to help fight the Commie Hordes which didn't win him many friends. I didn't know Monty harbored the same ideas. Mord.
  12. I hope the hell not. I'd rather pay fees to upgrade what we have even if they are full price. I don't wanna go all the way back to 2007 and wait and wait and wait. Now there is something we can definitely agree on. Vietnam would be my personal gaming Nirvana...I don't think I'd have enough pee in me if they ever announced that one...I'd have to borrow some from a neighbor. Mord.
  13. That BMP looks damn sweet, Kieme. The weathering on it and the T-64 looks just right. Mord.
  14. Some days tears are all I have... I have an electric minefield installed that can detect poop down to an ounce in weight. My front yard looks like a miniature version of the moon...hundreds of craters mark where punkass weiners paid the ultimate price. THAT's how I am getting along with them. Mord.
  15. I definitely DON'T want them updating CMSF 2's setting; Keep it Syria, keep the time frame (but they could expand it beyond a couple months). At this point it has history, even if it's fictitious history, it's our history, that we all helped create. I just wanna see them update it to the new engine and such, maybe add some extra equipment/forces if we are lucky. The newest bells and whistles will really add a lot of depth to it. They could always create a spinoff module for some newer setting or what have you, but c'mon, leave CMSF in Syria, circa 2008. Mord.
  16. I don't think you'd be able to do it. Mostly, because any teams that you could edit down to one man would probably be carrying stuff no pilot would have. Ex. Sniper rifle, At, etc. The other problem you'd run into is that the pilot would be able to spot enemies in his vicinity, destroying any surprises you may have for the scenario. Albeit, that wouldn't be that hard to work around. Your best bet would probably be to just go with the touch objective, which you could make hidden to add more intensity to the situation. Just give the player a proximity to where he might be found, not knowing the exact spot will up the pressure of having to find him quick, and get him out. Mord.
  17. You're welcome, rocketman. UPDATE: Uploaded to the Repos. Should be available soon. Mord.
  18. And Red Thunder... Actually, I am listing on ebay right now but making fun of Emrys helps alleviate the monotony. Not to mention he deserves it... Mord.
  19. Yeah, hard to beat classics like, stick, dirt and beaver corpse. Mord.
  20. Easy...Aloysius J. Snerd, formerly of Hoboken NJ, and Bruce...just Bruce—underwear model. That reminds me, Emyrs used to model chastity belts, which in turn 'caused the 100 Years War—his refusal to wax beforehand was legendary in the abstinence community...and apparently pissed off the Plantaganets. Who knew a crotch like a fur trapper's backpack could cause such misery? Mord.
