  1. In My Humble Opinion:.....ah I forgot what it is but I KNOW I'm Right
  2. See that sign! Two headed monkey just 97 miles ...can we stop, dad?...huh...can we?...Daaaaaad.....
  3. MikeyD is special and now you have your own number to prove it!
  4. Yep The game is terrific. Lord knows it's been a rocky start but I have not been able to stop playing it. When you look at the editor your gonna have a REAL eye opener...especially the AI editor. When I started getting into that I began to understand just how Different this game is from anything I have ever played. BFC is getting closer to Wargame Nirvana.
  5. Rudel: The Re-Fresh Monkey threads are a CM tradition. It wouldn't do to try logic or request patience or understanding.... These things do not work when the Re-Fresh Monkey's are turned loose.
  6. Not yet ... 5 weeks to go! Best regards, Thomm </font>
  7. Mine came w/game box, mouse pad, and map. No confidential info was enclosed.
  8. What? No stamina? It is obvious to me that you: 1. Do Not Have Kids 2. You have too many Kids
  9. Fra: Welcome and keep posting. Huntarr has it right. You'll not see threads either celebrating or denigrating other games last for very long. The forum is dedicated to CM. Please don't feel badly, you're new and couldn't have known. Your actual question re: The future of CM:SF? The future is bright for CM:SF. No doubt a very difficult birth, but a rich, deeply rewarding game, none the less. Now when the doctor cuts the warts off our baby's nose she'll be the prettiest little thing ever!
  10. You are absolutely right...I had never noticed that.
  11. The scen/campaign forum should be of help to you. Here's something else you might try for existing scen within the game: Open the editor load from the game/scen file and take a look in the Mission Editor/ "description" You'll find the general game size without being tipped off to units/goals.
  12. It's a good idea. In some thread awhile back I'd mentioned that perhaps a helmet grayed out might alert you to KIA's and the need to check morale.
  13. Irony? Yes, please but not so much starch on the collar, OK..
  14. Thank you for your tireless devotion to solving the games' issues. I can't help but think it's like the first production run of the XKE Jaguar (1966?). Beautiful design, fantastic stats, and in the repair shops all day long. But the Jaguar engineers persevered and today it is a classic of automobile design. Wish the same for your baby.
  15. There are a lot of hard working, intellectually as well as physically brave reporters. Geraldo ain't one of 'em. Jarhead is.
  16. Yep, I can see it now, Company CO, Mark Ezra, relieved of command for insubordination, dereliction of duty and plan ass battlefield stupidity....sign me up!
  17. Great reporting...but aren't you pulling a "Geraldo" with all that specific troop location info...What is it with you? Gonna get yourself a pulitzer prize at the expense of our war effort...? Seriously Jarhead...excellent AAR [ August 24, 2007, 09:42 AM: Message edited by: MarkEzra ]
  18. Thanks to all who responded...Would you believe I actually did a search and found only this Elementary My Dear Watson...The mortars
  19. Crassus: be not deceived. If I have veiled my look I turn the trouble of my countenance merely upon myself. For vexed I am at late with passion some difference, conceptions only proper to myself, which gives some soil perhaps to my behavior. But let not therefor my good friends be grieved, among which number Crassus you be one. Nor construe any further my neglect than that poor Brutus, with himself at war, forgets the shows of love to other men. Julius Caesar/William Shakespeare
  20. Actually, Dale, I don't Blame anyone. The Testers were up against date certain deadline. I only suggest what would be, I think, a good business practice: deconstruct the testing method to evaluate what IF ANYthing can be done to improve it. It certainly doesn't mean I don't like them or value their service. I have done hundreds of hours of testing myself so I feel qualified to discuss this. To me, Dale it is never about Who is right but What is right...just a goofy business practice I try to abide by.
