It's not about deliberation or throwing caution to the wind. I've done both with and without success. The Game certainly makes me think more. Perhaps I'm gaining a better tactical judgement as a result.

Everybody on this forum has suffered this type of angst while waiting for a CM Game. In the case of the patch it really is a matter of logistics and time management. Now if I'd been your friend I'd have done just what he did...Buy the Brits, load it and play the hell out of it. Had I been you, well why do I have to feel like chopped liver! Where's the patch! But like all true love stories, the fun is in making up! Others have given you a workaround for the weekend. Here's another: See if your friend will dl the Brit Demo...you, too...then you've got a way to play 1.20 together until the patch hits.

You may not be able to play PBEM from an earlier version like V1.10 or V1.11. This has generally been the case for all CM PBEM's. So my first thought is that's what's going on. How does your new PBEM play?

This didn't get mentioned in the official V1.20 Change list. There are now 226 QB Maps. Each Map was reviewed and reworked. All QB AI setups start as "Mounted" and all Pathing orders include dismount orders. All QB Maps have Multiple plans and orders. The AI will now be faster moving from it's setup area during meeting engagements.

It's OK, Pandur... Buying CM products is a weakness that many of us share...

First Thanks to Wengart and Pandur. The Syrian MG teams will not fire re-supplied 7.62 ammo. It will fire it's rifles only when when resupplied with 5.45 ammo (naturally). Wegart's point about Blue MG teams re-supply slot may be part of this problem. I've reported this as a bug. Thanks again. Here's the pic The Inf 5.45 re-supply does work as advertised. Here's the pic Inf resupply of 7.62 Does not fire (naturally I'll post a final pic when I check out the resupply for Blue MG teams but I expect Wengart observation to be correct.

Look at the first pic. Notice that Infantry ammo is full in the 1st slot, while the second slot (MG ammo) is empty...

Ammo re-loads for both MG and Rifles are fine. This pics is empty MG This pic is re-supply via BMP I think the confusion may come for the more knowledgeable player here: As you can see in the Acquire list Rifle ammo is listed as 5.45...

OK Let me see if I get this straight: AKD sez two types of Syrian 7.62 ammo. One fits Guns starting with "P" and another for guns that start "A" Pandur sez there is no ammo re-supply for the "P". So when I run Syrian out of "P" ammo I should not be able to get resupplied by BTR/BMP. I am going to test this out right away an supply pics of whatever results I get.

This game just seems to piss some people off. From the Setting, to modeling, coding, and marketing, from patching, Modules, or beta testers; there's just no end to the seemingly personal torment that BFC has inflicted upon us. And No one seems to care. With each backward step patch, or ill designed module the fan base dwindles, leaving only those few stalwart critics pointing out: "I told you so". They, these honest few, hold out that dim candle of hope that BFC will stop listening to their advice and finally take it. The forum has been thus before CMBO and ever shall it remain so.
