Bastables Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 I can't decide: if I'm rt'ing I get annoyed that I can't rewind to go back and see my lads rocket a panther from the side. If i'm we going I get annoyed that I can't make changes to troops on the fly and being forced to watching the boring bits a min at a time. Plus the exposures to pauseable rt in cmsf/men of war/ distant guns/ Jutland makes wego seem janky. ParaBellum Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Tried an MP battle in RT mode yesterday evening with a friend, medium size, after 20 minutes we stopped playing because we both found it virtually unplayable. I like RT when playing against the AI. But I still have no idea how you guys manage RT multiplayer in anything but very small battles. Karac Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Defenitely a WEGO player. It feels like I'am directing my own war movie which I can watch from different angles. Besides I find WEGO more interesting because I have to think ahead and also try to predict my opponents moves. And I have to be more precise. If things work out fine, it's much more rewarding. I found that although you could pause at any time in RT, I quite often didn't and got caught up in the action. WEGO forces me to review the entire battlefield again, so I like 'em both.
