Bah, you're all a bunch of unrefined baboons. The quote comes from the BBC series Coupling - on right before Father Ted. One character is always trying to pick up women, and saying the most inappropriate things. This is a line from one of his botched attempts.

Funny stuff, not like the abortion that NBC tried of the same name.

When I was small I believed in santa claus

Though I knew it was my dad

And I would hang up my stocking at christmas

Open my presents and Id be glad

But the last time I played father christmas

I stood outside a department store

A gang of kids came over and mugged me

And knocked my reindeer to the floor

They said:

Father christmas, give us some money

Dont mess around with those silly toys.

Well beat you up if you dont hand it over

We want your bread so dont make us annoyed

Give all the toys to the little rich boys

Dont give my brother a steve austin outfit

Dont give my sister a cuddly toy

We dont want a jigsaw or monopoly money

We only want the real mccoy

Father christmas, give us some money

Well beat you up if you make us annoyed

Father christmas, give us some money

Dont mess around with those silly toys

But give my daddy a job cause he needs one

Hes got lots of mouths to feed

But if youve got one, Ill have a machine gun

So I can scare all the kids down the street

Father christmas, give us some money

We got no time for your silly toys

Well beat you up if you dont hand it over

Give all the toys to the little rich boys

Have yourself a merry merry christmas

Have yourself a good time

But remember the kids who got nothin

While youre drinkin down your wine

Father christmas, give us some money

We got no time for your silly toys

Well beat you up if you dont hand it over

We want your bread, so dont make us annoyed

Give all the toys to the little rich boys

Tank hew, tank hew berry mulch (and God Gobble us, every one!).
Leeo that actually makes a bit of sense given the season ... it's not at all enlightening or witty or even noteworthy but it does make some sense.

I believe in praising to the level of the praisor ... in Leeo's case we must all be thankful for the little we get and encourage his efforts ... such as they are.

In other news, Stuka has sent another turn ... I can hardly restrain my fingers from opening it ... oh wait, yes I can.

An interesting visual.....how does one "restrain one's fingers", as Shaw so aptly puts it. Chinese handcuffs maybe? Duct tape? We should investigate further, after all what else is there to do on the day after Thanksgiving. All this Black Friday shopping hype is killing me.

Well your old Unca Stukey has done it again folks. (like there was ever any doubt)

{snipped photo due to massive irrelevance}

Leeo has realised the folly of his ways and capitulated in a most undignified manner.

Now really Stuka ... I mean you might as well have bragged about beating your five year old nephew.

Frankly I'm surprised that Leeo even knew HOW to surrender.

You might take a page from his book in our game, however ... it's getting to be about that time isn't it?

Shouldn't that be praisee?

Praisor would be you, which would make it subterranian.

I take my "ee" and "or" usage from a mnemonic we use in the wonderful world of mortgage banking, to wit ... YOU'RE the MORTGAGOR, WE are the MORTGAGEE.

Furthermore I looked it up on the World Wide Web, specifically on Google.com and found the following entry on the FIRST page which would seem to nail the door shut on this controversy ...

But perhaps you prefer a more prosaic definiton such as the one offerred by the Free Dictionary online ...

-ee 1

suff. 1. a. One that receives or benefits from a specified action: addressee.

b. One that possesses a specified thing: mortgagee.

2. One that performs a specified action: absentee.

In either case, however ... I'm right and you're wrong ... oh look, this is me wearing my shocked and surprised face.
