Holien Posted March 10, 2004 Share Posted March 10, 2004 Right a quick AAR update. I have just had my first chance where I can spend some time looking through these beauties. And they are beauties. Some of you who have sent them in have asked me for comments. I have thought hard about this and I can not offer you any comments as I would be potentially affecting the quality of your work and not giving the same advice to others. Hence all I will tell you is that it has been filed safely and ready to be judged at the appropriate stage. Please ask others for advice before you submit the AAR's and you can always replace an AAR with a re-worked version right up to the deadline. I am now working on having a web page where you can see who has submitted what. This is new to me and will take some time. I will post a link here when it is available. Once again thank you for taking the time to write the AAR's. Once I have collected them all I will zip them into the appropriate games and sides so you can have them sent to you if you wish, that or I can have them available to download if I get my web skills honed to that level. Once you finished all your games you can ask to have the scores spreadsheet e-mailed to you, but to get a really accurate comparison its best to wait until all the scores are in. If only my ISP was as helpful all of the time! As I informed my opponents shortly before the start of ROW IV I had some trouble with my ISP and phone provider and have since been cut off from ADSL for a while. And as luck would have it both my sisters internet acces and/orPCs was out too. In a town without internet cafes that left me on a brown, smelly creek sans paddle. I may or may not be re-connected tomorrow, on past performance it could possibly take another month. So perhaps it is prudent that someone takes my place in the tournament.
