Seanachai
Bugger it, close enough: On this most inauspicious occasion, let me just say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHAEL EMRYS! First we celebrated the birth of Death, and now Famine. The Peng Challenge Thread acknowledges the rise of another of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypso! Alright, cue Harry Belafonte! Moraine Sedai
Ahhhh, Mr. Emrys...though you say you owe it to the little people, let not your heart be troubled that those better than you - dare I say it, even...smarter than you...have also deigned to notice you. In light of that, I must say this: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! PS - Seanachai, dearest, when I say I'm up past my bedtime, it's not a societal issue for me. I had been up for so long not only was my eye twitching, but both of my hands and forearms had begun to twitch from sitting in front of the computer for so long. But I *do* appreciate the concern you've shown for me that I should not fall needlessly into the slipstream of mundacity. Is "mundacity" a word? If it's not, it should be. Joe Shaw
Michael I'd wish you a happy birthday but that would imply that I'D be happy about it and, well ... it's not nice to LIE ... unless you're Berli ... or unless you're Australian and you use it in the sense of Lie About Bone Idle. Then it's okay. Otherwise, not so much. Joe
