Scythe
I played the CMAK demo but held off on buying it in hopes of getting CM2 (or whatever it's going to be called)... Haven't been here in a while, what's the deal on CM2? How long will it be? Will it be World War II or something else?
Soddball
We probably won't see it for 10-12 months at best. It hasn't been revealed what theatre it'll cover. Personally I hope it goes back to Normandy.

I would like to have my game on my hard disk by Christmas Break 2005 (11 Months from now) BUT even that might be optimistic. Moon has said he wanted a Dec 31 2005 deadline to ship the game but that was QUITE a while ago. So as always around here it will ship when its READY and not before, because they don't seem to follow any HARD deadlines. BUT I would still like to play it over the Christmas Break 11 Months from now (its nice to dream) -tom w
MikeyD
Don't wait for the new game! Buy the CMAK/CMBB bundle pack, download every mod and 3rd party scenario you can find, and have some FUN! At the rate its snowing now (I'm in Boston) glaciers may have decended from the north by the time CMX2 gets here.

Battlefront.com
Winter 2005/2006 is still our target. One thing that I will say that CMx2's first release will NOT be is CMAK's theater. That just doesn't make any sense from a marketing standpoint Steve

Other Means
Originally posted by Sergei: That having been said... are we there yet? No we are NOT there yet and if you ask once more, they're going to turn this development effort round and go back to CMBO. Is that what you want? Because I'm telling you they're THIS close to doing it.

Stavka_lite
There was a thread somewhere about the CMX2 starting off with the Outerspace Zombie Lobsters of Doom theater. I am ok with this just as long as BFC puts in the Camoflaged Motorcycle Flounder and Camel Corp .
junk2drive
"Yes its a dry heat but its still bloody hot!" Stop your whining and come up here to Bullhead City in July. Back to topic, I just want CMX2 to be more like a board game and less like a RTS with a pause button.

Kellysheroes
Back to Normandy? Awww cmon, how about Pacific Island hopping? I wanna kill some Japs. I've wasted enough Germans and Russians to satisfy me the rest of my life, but, there's not enough Jap killing games. BTW anyone know of anyone that did a mod remake for the Pacific War for CMBB or CMAK? I'd be satisfied with that I guess. I had the one for CMBO, but, it got formatted when I installed XP and I lost it.

junk2drive
The CMBO Pacific mod is at cmmods by designer cmmos MikeT loaded most all of the CMBO cmmos mods. In the cmmods CMAK section under my name are quite a few Pacific mods. They work well with the PTO scenarios that Hans has at TSD.
