Apache
I have a load of links in my favourites but having checked quite a few out they do not seem to have been updated in ages, having been away quite a lot I've probably missed any posted updates about them. CM Outpost and Mods and Modders are two that spring to mind, there's been no update at CMHQ for over a month either. It seems the only live sites are: Scenario Depot Boots n Tracks CM Mod Catalogue Der kessel Toms G/Deutschland and the various campaign related (CMMC2) Any other gems I'm missing?

Firefly
The Belgian Combat Mission site (in English) still exists although it doesn't appear to have been updated since August '02. It specialises in Bulge scenarios for CMBO.
Olle Petersson
I have just been appointed commander of the CMBB Scandinavian Community (that will change name shortly). It's a site that will be aimed at Nordic beginners. The main language is Swedish, initially. Cheers Olle

WWB
You forgot CMTech at The 3d Wargamer. More coming soon, am working away but live updates will not happen until I get my home internet connection back. WWB

Madmatt
CMHQ is still around but with the level of commitements I have with Battlefront its not so easy to post updates. Also, since CMBB came out I really wanted to turn the focus of CMHQ towards CMMOS supported mods and eventually phase out support for CMBO. Is it time for CMHQ to fade into the shadows? Perhaps. There are plenty of excellent sites out there that more than support the CM communities thirst for mods and support info. Years ago when I took the helm at CMHQ, most people had never heard of Battlefront or Combat Mission. Now, with dozens of awards to our names and products and with strong sales worldwide that is no longer such an issue. I like to think that for a brief time CMHQ shouted out where there was no voice and helped to make CM succeed. As to the future, that is still undecided but we still have some goodies that are being put together for you all. So don't call us dead just yet, we are just...resting... Within an hour or so yesterday, I had fully modded all my AFVs. The packages are so convenient and easy to use. Apache
I'd be sorry to see CMHQ die. It did start it all off and it is handy having all the CMMOS articles in one place. Even if all CMHQ did was support them, plus perhaps the occassional news article/update it would be worth keeping. A lot of the archive stuff is still relevant to CMBB too (IMO). There having been no posts to the contrary I can only assume the other sites I originally queried have passed away
Col Deadmarsh
CM Outpost was the best. Nice looking site with plenty of mods to choose from. Why is it now defunct?
Lindan
I noticed that my site for CMBO (lindan.panzershark.com) was taken down without me getting notified. It was hosted by Panzershark and is just gone. I didn't update it for ages, but it had a nostalgic feel to it. If I hadn't a backup on my harddisk, the original PENG challenge thread would have been lost forever... Currently I have 2 sites for CMBB with identical content. You find them in my sig. Exams came in the way so I couldn't fully build the site, but I have this scheduled for the first half of february.

Mark Gallear
Hardly the answer to CMHQ but my site may be worth a look - I am going to add some scenarios (By me) shortly.
Måkjager
Apache...MODs & MODers has been dormant due to the unfortunate Marcel Vie ( PawBroon ) having TWO brand new PCs melt on him. AFAIK..once he is able to get back on his feet i think we may see M&M back on line. Matt...if you let CMHQ pass away..then i dont think i will have the heart to make any more Mods.... ( Desperate attempt to do some emotional blackmail on Matt in the vain hope a cabbage can influnce a baldy Yank ) regards Måkjager [ January 21, 2003, 03:57 PM: Message edited by: Måkjager ]
MikeyD
Grossdeuthchland still exists. it can be found at: http://members.shaw.ca/grossdeutschland/ Tom's Combat Mission is still kicking: http://www.militarygameronline.com/TCMHQ/International.html Scenario Depot still comes up on my computer: http://ns9.super-hosts.com/~dragonlair.net/combatmission/ Seems the death of CM sites has been somewhat exaggerated. [Post edited. Seems some of those sites haven't been updated for quite awhile. Are you telling me the webmasters might be living their own life instead of devoting all to CM?] [ January 21, 2003, 04:19 PM: Message edited by: MikeyD ]

He did not list the 'gone to meet their maker' sites, at least that is how I read Adrian's post.

Apache
Andreas - You're right. The sites above are listed under the 'live'. Glad to hear M&M might be back up, I enjoyed CM Outpost too, excellent to have the before and after mod shots together.
