Agua
From the 3.12 readme that's now in the CMBN folder: v3.12 Features:.TO&E.* The imposter "Vickers" team that is actually a 2IC team available for purchase as a Specialist Team has been removed. . Ran into "Vickers" icon for 2IC teams in QB yesterday after installation. [edited to add:] This was a computer picked force. user1000
Is that when shooting at the side, and does it say "Penetration"?Because the bug I reported was the crew inside the vehicle getting hit when shot from the front, with the commander unbuttoned.no sniper like mp40 is going to penetrate sides, half track maybe at close range Penetration of tiny slits probability is VERY low as well. Unfortunately these 2 things are not true in the new patch.. From wikipedia Its glacis armor was supposed to withstand fire from a .50 in (12.7 mm) machine gun and side armor from a .30 in (7.62 mm) machine gun Edited February 28, 2016 by user1000

Actually just tonight I destroyed an M8 with fire from a MG42, firing from the side at about 100m range. The crew bailed out after about 30 seconds when the commander was killed, then I kept shooting for a couple of minutes before it caught fire.I'm still on v3.11 Edited February 28, 2016 by Bulletpoint
Peregrine
How is 3.12 patch by itself planned to be distributed? By itself or only as part of the battle pack? Edited February 28, 2016 by Peregrine
Holien
The v3.12 patch will come out fairly soon, however we want to give the Battle Pack a few days of testing before we release it. If anybody turns up a fatal flaw we should just skip to v3.13 SteveFYI in BP threas
Vanir Ausf B
I'm surprised by this. Shouldn't rocky terrain cause more casualties from high explosives? As all the rocks and pebbles would be thrown out like shrapnel? Yes, but it doesn't work like that in the game.BTW, that item in the change log is worded incorrectly. The increase in cover values applies to bullets also, not just explosives. Some clarification on this after some testing. It appears the increase in micro terrain cover for Rocky terrain is only for bullets, so although Rocky terrain does not produce higher casualties than plain dirt it doesn't produce significantly less either.

If terrain cover values were generally increased against bullets, that could have big effects on gameplay...
Vanir Ausf B
So basically it has nothing to do with HE then? I think micro terrain usually applies to explosives and bullets. My comment was regarding the Rocky terrain type specifically, which may not be typical for the reason you mentioned earlier. Changes were also made to other terrain types. The effects are subtle. We beta testers have been playing with the changes in Final Blitzkrieg for a couple of months and they have not been controversial in the least, so take that for what it's worth Edited February 29, 2016 by Vanir Ausf B

Bud Backer
3.12 states it is battle pack and not an update is this an update or is it a battle pack? I'm confused/The battle pack contains the 3.12 update. I assume a separate patch installer without battle pack will be available shortly. Edit:My bad, it was just released, link below:http://battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2306&Itemid=518 Edited March 1, 2016 by Bud Backer

PanzerPajamas
When I unzip the seperate 3.12 patch, I'm seeing Battlepack setup files (Setup, Setup-1a.bin, Setup-1b.bin, v312brz). Is this correct?
herr_oberst
From the CMBN Battle Pack 1 and v3.12 are released! 03/01/2016 Announcement post at the top of the site:The great thing is it contains all of the Battle Pack 1 data so if you want the Pack later you can do so without an additional download. So yeah, you have the 3.12 patch and the Battle Pack data, just no license to use the Battle Pack stuff.
PanzerPajamas
Got it. Thanks for the clarification. Of course I should have read the rest of the announcement after the link.
