poesel
Got it today but am not terrible happy. I received a letter from customs end of last week. Because it had no invoice on the outside of the package I had to go personally to the office to pay the taxes. The customs office is on the other side of town. So I had an one hour drive to pay 11,45€. Please BFC - put an invoice on the outside of the package (similar to what Amazon does). I don't mind the taxes (much) but having to drive to customs is really annoying.

I think our country is falling apart..... I pay BF € 61,- for a disk in a little tin box and a small manual plus the high shipping costs. I must pay customs another € 25,-, so in total, for this game €86,- I've censored the above sentence myself, but I'm pretty mad....Download only from now on.

Redwolf
How is BFC responsible for your elected government charging you random taxes and customs?

Aragorn2002
How is BFC responsible for your elected government charging you random taxes and customs? Nobody is raising that question. I'm just complaining about the whole situation. It is insane. Of course the whole bloody dutch custom system is to blame.

Aragorn2002
That's right, Michael. I don't mind paying for the game itself, but it's the price for getting it on my desk that is making me really mad.

Lt Belenko
I understand your confusion. Please check the name of this forum. It was a joke aimed at the slow snail mail and excessive postal fees. If I have to explain, it must not have been funny.

I thought that was pretty obvious too. Never mind. The money is paid, the lesson learned and life goes on. ;-)

How much is sales tax, customs etc?
