ctid98
So, as the months tick by I was wondering when we might see the next module being released, or at least get some screen shots or a run down of the TOE??? I've been following the forum for news and maybe I missed it, after all I do have a life and can't spend all day surfing, but any news would be good. Thanks CTID98
George MC
A wee bird told me the blue bar has been removed in the next module. Only joking
Sergei
It's always a divine mystery when BFC announces their product. If you want to know when they bring forth Combat Mission related news without checking on the site daily, you can join the BFC mailing list. Tick the Combat Mission box.
A Canadian Cat
So, as the months tick by I was wondering when we might see the next module being released, or at least get some screen shots or a run down of the TOE??? Good timing - they announced it today with some unit information and screen shots. http://www.battlefront.com/community/announcement.php?f=124&a=470 Last time it took a few months between CMBN announcement and release. So, we still have some waiting to do.

Fetchez la Vache
"21st Army" more accurate than "Commonwealth Forces". Just saying. :-)
YankeeDog
"21st Army" more accurate than "Commonwealth Forces". Just saying. :-) Sure. And "Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy, Brittany, and bits of other areas of France like Pais de la Loire" would be a more accurate title than "Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy", but it's not as catchy. (Edit to note: Personally, I was advocating for "CM:Brits 'n Chums", but apparently BFC saw things otherwise)
GerryCMBB
Hello All: I assume the Crocodile and Wasp are not included as they are not yet ready to cover fire in the game? Or maybe the Wasp wasn't around till a later module. Thanks, Gerry
Pak40
Wasp is on the list. I didn't see the Croc listed but they also claimed that it's not a complete list yet. No Mk III yet:mad:
Sergei
Wasp is on the list. Wasp is not on the list. Did you mean Wespe?
A Canadian Cat
I assume the Crocodile and Wasp are not included as they are not yet ready to cover fire in the game? I am sure you are correct. I was hoping for the Kangaroo but perhaps that was around only later in the war. I'll have to look it up again. What ever might be missing I am looking forward to playing with what *is* there
James Crowley
I was hoping for the Kangaroo but perhaps that was around only later in the war. I'll have to look it up again. Kangaroos were used extensively in Operation Totalize which, taking place in early August, should be within the timespan of CMBN.

Cool, look at that now I don't even have to look it up:) I would really like to see Kangaroos in the game. BFC, please consider adding them - perhaps to the funnies module.
GerryCMBB
Mord said this in the other thread: "Great news! And the "can't tell you everything yet" part leaves a lot open for day dreaming and surprises." Gerry

Michael Emrys
Development was delayed over snags involved with coding BREN tripods, but now is past that. Michael

Pak40
Wasp is not on the list. Did you mean Wespe? Yes, Wespe is German for Wasp isn't it? I thought that's what he was talking about. my bad. I guess he meant the Bren carrier flamethrower.

GerryCMBB
Yes, I meant the carrier Wasp. I had fun with it many years ago in the ASL Historical Module "Operation Veritable". Funny, I hadn't realized there was a German Wespe. So I learned something new today. Not hard when I know so little compared to the grogs on here. Gerry Yes, Wespe is German for Wasp isn't it? Erwin
You obviously haven't played CM1, Gerry. Wespes (105mm) and Hummels (150mm) were great fun.
GerryCMBB
Yes. Despite my username, I never played the CM1 series so I have a lot to look forward to. And it seems that I am a slow player so I have seen very little of CMBN yet! Mostly played infantry so far. Gerry
