i9-9900K appears to be on the list (unlike my CPU): See here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors
-
Now that's even wierder. Maybe you and I should stick to modelling instead my friend? That's 1/72 tanks in case anyone is wondering .
-
Agreed. When something like this is supported: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/207904/intel-atom-x6200fe-processor-1-5m-cache-1-00-ghz/specifications.html but an i7-6700HQ isn't, it looks a bit odd.
-
The 'upgrade tool' tells me I have TPM but my processor (an i7-6700HQ) is not on the supported list. While as I say other older and far crappier items are .

So we were talking about Amazon ads appearing in Facebook - is that what you mean? Not sure whether that's a Windows thing, particularly as it was Facebook on an iPhone. Having said that and straying OT (not a first for this thread) I'm not sure my Win 10 offers much more than my Win 7 used to . And my 3 year old processor is apparently not Win 11 capable even though loads of older, far crappier ones are .

I'm the same, and I'm not saying my perception of being surveilled is correct in the first place. This could explain some of it, but I think not the shirts, which I had said I was going to a store to buy after work - so no interaction on Amazon from me to spam there. Oh well, interesting but I'm not about to crush my iphone over it. Or stop using Amazon or Facebook.

Going back to Zuckerberg for a minute... Recently at work we were talking about robotic cleaning appliances. I had my iphone on the table in front of me. Later that day I started to get adverts on Facebook for guess what? Robotic cleaning devices. A week or so later, same situation, I mentioned that I needed to get some school shirts for my boy (great conversation I know ). Later that day the person I was talking to (whose phone was on the table) started to get Facebook adverts for school shirts. And she doesn't even have children. Coincidence? I don't think so. But is Zuckerberg (and Alexa etc.) actually listening in? Who knows...

Couple of simple Modding questions if I may?
Vacillator replied to lcm1947's topic in CM2 Scenario and Mod Tips
I hope he won't mind but I would advise getting in touch with @kohlenklau. He (Phil) is very active in modding/designing etc. and is always looking for people to get started and work with. And he's a lovely guy... -

1/6 - sounds good Phil, will look out for it. -
I agree, this is the way (Mandalorian style).

Barbarossa Scenarios Released

Phil, it must be half of a big brain . And we all fumble the ball occasionally so that's not a problem. I'm opening the champagne . -

Vacillator replied to gabsihihi's topic in Combat Mission - General Discussion
@BFCElvis this one might need your attention? And I don't mean the book . -
And if you still have any problems, @BFCElvis will sort you out I'm sure.

Heart of the Dying Sun - WIP
Vacillator replied to George MC's topic in CM Red Thunder Maps and Mods
Do you mean 'The laird'? That would be George. -
Fixed it or not, I like it . So it appears in my QB just because it can (i.e. it's in my Z folder)?
-
And that might be the answer! I have Finnish mods in my Z folder, thanks to Phil and others I believe.
-
I'm always amused by the little things, like this in a F&R QB (testing something): KT has whitewash - tick! 250/3 does not - hmm! But wait, what is that on that guy's helmet? The one in the middle: I have not seen one of those before - love it .
-
Yes they are indeed very good and I have enjoyed playing a lot of them either as single player or against the maestro author himself . For me the later scenarios all have AFRIKA at the start, but I see some others that don't (e.g. Halfaya Pass, Italian Sappers, Blazin Chariots, Bloody Wadi). EDIT: looking in Kohlenklau (Phil)'s 'Goody Box' (easy to find in his signature LOL) I see all of these now have AFRIKA at the start. As Phil said, make sure you put them in the correct place. For me this is: C:\Users\My name\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Fortress Italy\Game Files\Scenarios Good luck!

New scenario avaliable - Odessa will be ours !
Vacillator replied to Glubokii Boy's topic in CM Red Thunder Maps and Mods
Looks like a great bit of work, thanks and download works fine and loads up fine too. Tomorrow if I can I'll try it, T34/85s looking good and SU-85s being teased - yes please. -
Fire and Rubble module has been released!!
Vacillator replied to BFCElvis's topic in Combat Mission Red Thunder
Do you have a particular question to answer or do you need to look at the whole thing? Providing the whole manual might be better coming from Elvis or at least with his say-so. EDIT: I see your post in the other thread so ignore the above.
