The focus shouldnt be pumping out another CMx2 title IMO. Anything Eastern should be packed with CMRT. 
I would love to see Fall Blau to Kursk, when the Germans were just beginning to get crushed. I think 1942-43 will offer a bit of everything, and would be pretty balanced too. BT-5, 7 and KV-1, KV-1S, wide range of vehicles. T-60 and T-70 tanks. 
Germans would have so much good kit too. 37mm at gun? Let's go!

The helper tools we have had in the community are SO much better and more advanced, and yet more simple too. 
Not to bash anyone, but theres no way you guys can release that as the final product CMx2 multiplayer solution. 

Mine is. Especially when it comes to joint military exercises with an aggressive country that just invaded another country and is bombing, killing, raping and torturing it's civilians.

I feel your pain. Personally I am relying on all of my titles being over on Steam down the track. 

Everything about Combat Mission feels like it's 2002 because BFC are banking on a big retro gaming revival.
UI, transaction and update processes, graphics, editor and well, just about everything, appear to be from the turn of the century.
Maybe we'll get another module?
 
Wake me up when we catch up to five years ago.
I'm a fan, in it since the start, but no longer pay attention since everything is just so far in the past. 

Someone on reddit has started a thread about making a game in Unreal Engine 5 that will be a competitor to the Combat Mission games. If he isn't joking about this, it could be good for Battlefront to have a bit more competition as it maybe could make them want to improve their current game engine even more or better yet want them to make an up to date and better game engine which many of the members on this forum has been requesting for a while.
It's a bit interesting why this person has a wish to compete with Combat Mission. He's most likely someone that has played at least one of these games and feels a bit disappointed with what the current game engine offers. It doesn't seem like there are loads of people buying and playing the Combat Mission games, so he doesn't seem to be looking for the big bucks from large sales.

Well, exactly. And let's remember that Putin has little left in the way of military means to 'punish' the West. He can't blackmail us with oil and gas for much longer and his economy is crumbling. Time for the West to step up the game. At the same time it will be a strong warning to the Chinese that there's a limit to our patience. When they think they can have the f*cking nerve to make use of the situation in the Ukraine, they should be shown that's a huge mistake. Time to show some teeth.

Glad to hear it. While unpacking some more random campaign files I found one that didn't work and fixed another edge case, so here goes v0.10.1

I haven't touched CM in ages, having mostly lost interest in it, but today I had an itch and looked at the code I had written for the uncam tool and somehow ended up rewriting the entire thing in one setting. I fixed some issues and it should be possible to unpack CMCW campaigns as well as potentially campaigns of yet unreleased games, as long as BF does not muck with the file format. Anyways, I don't have CMCW so I can't test and there are no campaign files in the scenario depot. If it doesn't work, send me the campaign file (or a download link) and I can take a look at it. I don't even have a Windows PC anymore, so I couldn't test the Windows version either, so please report any issues.
