  1. Easy as. Copy and paste codes from BF into Slitherine, rinse and repeat for each module/bp. Then copy and paste codes generated from Slitherine into Steam, rinse and repeat for all RT stuff. Once activated in Steam download/install and you have a Steam install. Then finally cut/copy and paste your Z mods folder from your non-steam install into your new Steam RT directory and party on ladies and gents.
  2. Ok so I downloaded the patched/corrected campaign file from the Batlefront patches section. I cut and paste it into my Campaigns folder within the game directory. I load my last save for this campaign prior to the much maligned and stuffed up mission 7 mook bridge canal mission. Sure enough after I do my setup and first turn orders and hit the red button the wooden bunker is still right on the edge of the bridge along with some wire. And when my infantry reach the bridge, they still don't cross it. So do I have to save this and start a completely new campaign again from the first mission for this stupid wooden bunker not to appear and block my troops from crossing the bridge no matter what where all the objectives reside that are impossible to capture due to this campaign killer bug?
  3. I managed to successfully transfer my CM BN library across to Steam. A little fiddly given I purchased everything individually as they came out starting way back in 2011 when I first purchased Normandy. Very happy and looking forward to the other titles coming over to Steam each quarter.
  4. The patch for the Steam version is up as mine has just been updated.
  5. Hi @Ithikial_AU, Yep I understand you took it over and did a great job cleaning it up/unified across all the titles. Again, no big deal frankly. Very much looking forward to BP2 along with all the other stuff on the horizon in 2023.
  6. Ahhh crap, I think I forgot to remove the Z folder when I installed the patch. @BFCElvis don't worry about this. It's probably good old user error on my part. My game saves were in the orders phase, but I forgot to remove Z folder before patch install.
  7. After installing the patch I have noticed that at the front menu screen the Saved Games menu button has had written over the top of it with Saved Games & PBEM instead of replacing the Saved Games text with the new Saved Games & PBEM. Not sure if I am the only one. The other interface quirk I have noticed is when I hit the red button after giving orders the pause/play button looks different. No biggie just a little odd. I'm sure in any case when Normandy series is migrated to Steam it will be fine.
  8. Happy days. Downloading. Heres hoping that Normandy pops up on Steam next month so I can transition it to Steam.
  9. Ok this may seem like a stupid question, but Black Sea is the first and only CM game I have purchased and installed through Steam. Does downloading and installing this patch work on my Steam version install? I note that when I go into the game from Steam in the bottom right it says v.2.16 Steam. Do I need to wait for this patch to come via the Steam platform for a specific Steam version of the patch?
  10. I agree with both your sentiments on CM with the PIV's in Montebourg along with the stupid sponsor named grounds.
  11. Our wines aren't bad either. And much like a well looked after cellared quality Aussie Shiraz, the CM2 titles have also aged well.
  12. I've expressed my desire for an Arab-Israeli CM game. I have longing memories as a kid playing with my friends one of Avalon Hills bookcase series boardgame The Arab-Israeli Wars (Tank Batles in the Mideast, 1956-73). God I absolutely loved that boardgame. Who doesn't love the eclectic mix of WW2 era equipment such as Shermans and T-34s mixed with more modern cold war tanks like the M-48, Centurion, M-60, T-62. Not to mention the quirky vehicles from France and the first use of ATGM's with the suitcase AT-3 Sagger. I think this would be a huge success for Battlefront. I would have thought that there is plenty of reliable source material to develop such a title based on that era.
  13. Ahhh, I'm with my fellow Antipodean here. I'm completely happy with the content on offer and I'm ok with the it's ready when its ready approach. I'm always excited by new features, engine updates, bug fixes, and of course new content. But while I patiently wait there is just so much content, campaigns and missions before you get into the user created stuff, I honestly don't know how anyone has the time to say I've played it all. Even if I was retired, I would struggle to get through all the content. I became a huge fan of the Battlefront products when I purchased CM Normandy. The unique WeGo turn based system with the variety of orders/commands that can be combined across every waypoint for me is the closest I will come to experiencing tactical battlefield decision making. And I can sit back and watch it all unfold over and over in replay. Infantry or tank only or the ultimate test combined arms, the CM series has it all. WW2 is for me where this series shines best but modern it works just as well. Sure, it's not perfect but I can mention fancy triple A titles with buggy/glitchy replay or stability issues or that get patches that brake untold features. I don't experience that in the CM titles. Just another thing that I am grateful to Battlefront for. Anyway I hope 2023 will be a great year for Battlefront and the CM titles.
