  1. Had that mortar luck shot happen to me, enemy AI had a spotter down the hill and I was on the slope not good
  2. this is also seen in the stuart and chafee or hellcat
  3. I know it was in combat mission 1 games but In my trials of using the command, it doesn't work or is still being worked on.
  4. macjimm i watched your videos great tutorial but your game is not up to date. i hear the radio beeps that was fixed in the last update
  5. I have indirect fired a half track with a 30cal jeep before. Use it on buildings to force people out of them as well
  6. How do you guys know it wasn't an actual seating position for a crewman? Tried to do a search on google thinking it was actually true to the tank, no luck on top downs of the marder so I still don't know it could have been real.
  7. I just noticed there is a crew member in the marder II who faces backwards, can he also drive the tank backwards like the puma crewman who also faces backwards?
  8. No... The slowness you are seeing is from the bushes hindering the speed of the soldiers movement. You will see them trying to slug through deep snow as well. Does not have a thing to do with "tiles"
  9. It's actually here https://www.facebook.com/pg/thenandnowghostsofhistory/photos/?tab=album&album_id=391374130933139
  10. In quick battles if you tick battle size huge, you have a higher budget so you can purchase the big steel. But the enemy ai can do the same unless you choose the side for your enemy of course. I always let ai choose enemy units makes it more unpredictable.
  11. yes discussion of tactics and just seeing what you guys would do in the situation. Realizing ground conditions and weather plays huge in the battle Checking it alone can save many tanks from immobilizing and troops.
  12. There are a ton of choices like If I run them through deep snow or mud getting to the house or run them down the road via the move or assault line placing it directly over areas with good ground will result in less exhaustion If you want to move them fast through snow you may think it is easy but deep snow will make them not move fast and get MG-42/34 - d. I think the best is assault or crawling down road with no snow.
  13. I don't think it's a problem of whoever has the autos wins. Going back to first post. I can honestly say I see more german mg teams fire while getting shot at, compared to a us mg team which seems to always curl at the hint of a firefight. The water cooled .30 cal had a longer range than the mg-42, could shoot longer, and carried more ammo. Same with bazookas. Where have you seen a us bazooka team get a shot off with incoming mg fire? Panzerscreks and panzerfausts sure seem to.
  14. The battle was meijel mayhem. Don't forgot it's a sherman jumbo this has tons of frontal armor. It was partial hull down in the river and panther G was pretty far away.
  15. At a distance this Jumbo was hull down in a battle and had no problem deflecting 16 shots from a Panther G Mid. An M10 had to be called to take care of the Panther due to the low velocity Jumbo 75 main gun
  16. but then the clock is ticking and you have to wait for your men to come back down form fatigue level to aim or move normal again.
