Thewood1 got a reaction from LukeFF in In-game spotting system: are you kidding me?
Here are only a few of your posts that seem to contribute mightily in reinforcing the opinion you have some kind of bias...does the word "murican" in the context you used it at least three times mean anything?

I am pretty sure there is more out there...I just stopped after a few threads. So you have pointed out one possible error on a UKR plane. Compared to the above. It sure does look like bias. Especially when you have accused insinuated a few times that the developers are biased. You'd make it a lot easier for people to look at issues a lot more seriously if you stopped presenting the way you do and bring some tangible evidence to back up claims of bias.

Thewood1 got a reaction from Wicky in John Kettler's Omnibus Thread
I am one of the ones who complained. I came in one morning to look for a specific thread. I found the first six threads started by John and another one only 8-9 down. One was on emoticons, one was on some issue with sound on youtube, one was on a video of the T-90 which could have easily been just a post in several existing T-90 threads, one was on Grad rockets falling on a city in the Ukraine (which also could gone into an existing thread if it really was relevant), one on Russian field rations, one on a video of the XM25, and another on a training video that no one seems to where it's from, and one legacy one on the A-10 in US service.
So maybe 2 you could say were relevant. Three are clearly not relevant, and a couple could have been just part of existing threads. I have seen his behavior in other threads and the pattern is to spam the forum with so much stuff that finding anything useful about the actual game becomes difficult. I don't mind the thread here and there about equipment or units in real life, but I have seen where this ends up. I was just trying to point out that it would be nice to have the game forum have the majority of the posts about the actual game.
There is a general forum. There are forums all over the web for this stuff. I initially asked nicely to back off of some of that stuff.

Thewood1 got a reaction from E4Grunt in John Kettler's Omnibus Thread
Yeah, I am passing no personal judgement...frankly, I don't care. I just don't want this to become how the CMSF forum became several years ago. Every other thread was a video on some piece of equipment or some obscure website. It became almost impossible to find threads on game topics. I see this forum heading the same way.

Thewood1 got a reaction from Skwabie in How does the damage system work for vehicles?
Graviteam seems to be more detailed in armor and at least as detailed in damage. At least they show it. I am not sure how anyone can claim CM is the most detailed when we have no idea how its done.

btw..7. Am I going to have to put the links up for you. If you are going to crap all over the forum, keep freaking track of what you are posting. How's that for nitpicking.

Could I ask you to put all of your semi-game related topics into one general modern equipment, Youtube videos, tank porn, and random links thread. The first six threads are yours, and 7 of the threads on the first page of the forum are yours. Some good threads that are directly game related are getting pushed off the first page. At the pace you are going, all the threads on the first page will be yours and have only a passing connection to discussing the game.
Or move them to general discussion.

Thewood1 got a reaction from A Canadian Cat in How to use the Khrizantema?
As stated, the main issue is that it is built to be a real stand-off weapon...greater than 2000m. Not many people play on those large maps.

Thewood1 got a reaction from Nerdwing in M1A2sep (aps) vs. 2x T-90am (aps)
I agree that the majority of this thread was useless. It looked like some people venting with a little nationalism thrown in. But again, if individual modeling of important units are severely broken, they only way to check them is sometimes individual testing. And sometimes its needed to show that things either aren't broken or aren't as simple as some people think.

Thewood1 got a reaction from Blazing 88's in Ability to target from positions you have not actually gone to
How is using the target line any different an exploit than going to ground level and moving all around the map and looking at the terrain. You can't do that in real life as a commander. To me you get the exact same exploit, its just one of them is easier and saves time for people that don't have all night to play.

I don't play turn based. Its a ****ing pos. Only wego I have is with Doug Williams. And the turn cache is cleared.

Thewood1 got a reaction from A Canadian Cat in BMP-3M Mech inf. vs M2 Mech inf. tactics.
Hey, I would settle for an anecdote with a real example of it happening.
-
Thewood1 got a reaction from LukeFF in BMP-3M Mech inf. vs M2 Mech inf. tactics.
Again, bring on the video so it can be shown and compared apples to apples...
1) who was moving
2) what direction were they facing
3) what was motivation
4) what was overall morale
5) were there infantry nearby in communications
6) what was the ECM level
7) were there drones
8) what was the intelligence level for the scenario
...etc.
There about 15 other questions I would go to before questioning the integrity of people building the game.

Still no in game examples of how crippling this is.
