I'd much rather see other countries in the time period that CMCW is about rather than backtracking all the way to WW2 again. It seems like a huge waste of potential doing that.

Thank you, @Bil Hardenberger and @The_Capt! Thank you, @Battlefront.com and team! As a child of the Cold War, this game has surpassed my expectations on Day 1. I had so much fun fighting as the "hated" Soviets and loved playing as the "good guy" Americans. The equipment and technology is a blast. This has immediately become my favorite CM game, and I hope it gets the love the CMBN and CMSF have with lots of modules, battle packs and vehicle packs plus great support from the community.
    Lt, out!

An MLRS can delete literally a kilometer of ground, which is basically 3/4 to 1/2 of most Combat Mission maps. That doesn't seem very engaging to me honestly. And it does not take that long to reload them, I won't give you the exact times but its no where near two hours for a reload lol.

The frequency of patches is way higher at other game companies (at least one a week at a lot of them) with similar amounts of developers. In comparison you can expect 1 patch a year with BFC games, I'm not sure I understand how that's something to be proud of.
Now Combat Mission doesn't have anything game breaking really (which is absolutely something to be proud of) so I don't expect a patch a week but its always a surprise when something small takes a year or more for a CM game.

I agree with you and understand where you're coming from.
I definitely wasn't trying to say that you guys don't work hard at fixing stuff...just that it takes a while and it isn't surprising you will see comparisons to other companies. And yes that anecdote is something I'm very familiar with 😉.
