I'm open to whatever truth comes out, if any, about the Kerch bomb.  RIght now mostly looks like truck bomb.  but that's not conclusive, so internet is going nuts.  What Steve said does carry some weight -- if RU says it's truck bomb, there's good chance it's not truck bomb.

Honestly, I’m a big fan of what Elon Musk is doing in the space flight arena, but I wish he would SHUT UP about Ukraine!  You can’t be an expert at everything Elon. 

If I was Ukraine, I would strike Saki or Sevastopol or some other place on Crimea again to further the "I'm not locked here with you, you're locked here with me" message and watch the panic when suddenly everyone wants out of Crime but can't.
Buuuuut it might seem like too much of an escalation.

I hope not- finding perpetrators directly involved in all those atrocities will be difficult enough. I'd prefer the bastard to be alive and singing names. He can be put to justice later. Unfortunatelly as is the case in many other places long occuppied by muscovites, identifing them can be hard. Soldiers come and go, and finding individuals during war time is hellishly difficult.
One wonder why those people are so happy when liberated. I just saw short document in Polish TV, with reporter travelling freshly liberated villages and towns in Kherson. On average, every smaller village had several raped girls or women including older ones (ID was often covered by locals, so some of those crimes will likely stay "village secrets"- i.e. overal number of rapes is probably underreported), many people were severly beaten and shot to confess where their belongings were. As of now, collective executions seem to be more rare than in Kyiv area or simply Russians have more time to cover them up. Many local leaders, people connected to army or pre-invasion activists are lost, though.

The rail bridge was engulfed in a high intensity fire for hours. This will most likely have compromised the steel inside the concrete beams. Those bridge elements usually consist of prestressed concrete, meaning concrete that contains steel cables under tension when poured. This gives the elements stability and rigidity. In a high intensity fire those cables heat up which leads to the tension being released. Even after cooling, the tension is gone. The elements might look ok, but their load baring capabilities are most likely severely compromised.

TL;DR: rail bridge is ****ed. Good luck sending heavy trains over it

Yeah, given the brilliance and moxie the Ukrainians have shown, I have no trouble imagining them founding a thriving electric vehicle and commercial space industry, and then happily putting Elon out of business.

How can these idiots not see that if Russia’s threats succeed, the risk of nuclear war in future increases exponentially? Making sure these threats fail, and that Russia knows that everything gets worse for them if they employ nuclear weapons is the only hope for maintaining the “taboo” against their use beyond existential defense of the homeland.

Helped me calm down in stressful beginning of this war and pass hope to some friends.
