WW2 justified by former German soldiers
Hister replied to Jorge MC's topic in Combat Mission Red Thunder
Excellent explanation Jargotn. Interestingly enough East Germany is also more against immigration then the other half of Germany. It makes sense though cos of the bigger unemployment and less actual contact with the immigrants all translating into bigger fear. The whole West-East Germany divide is a very in interesting social "experiment". You can observe the paralel impact of different social models on a society. EDIT: Amongst the more WW2-wise ignorant nations are also Italians and Japanese. Italians are especially problematic since Allies needed them for political reasons after the capitulation and Italians never saw themselves as loosers but winners of the war. The many notions of them being the good guys are owerwhelmingly present in Italian society. -
More vivid, less washed out colors. Stock texture size ie. less detail then Aris one. For me the winning point is the harmony of colors working together to produce genuinely lifelike situations. Now that's me, tastes vary of course. It's easy to try it out and if you happen not to like it just stick with vanilla or any other texture mod. I personally will stick with this one for, some, time,to come (until/if a better one is made).

It's a showcase of a human mind. To be fair to Germans though as a whole they are much better at admitting they were wrong then many other nations involved in war crimes. Russians being a school case example. -

KA-BOOOOM! -
I managed to pull this off too. Was desperate 'cos I ran out of any other means and called arty on the stationary enemy tank and scored a hit. 95 % of the time it doesn't happen though, especially not with smaller ordnance that doesn't even immobilize the tank (which is a moot point any way if tank is stationary and is preventing the whole company from advance in that sector).

Polo, I had another user, not you, in my mind when replying. What do you mean about lobbying?
-
I would be interested to see what pros and cons devs made for Steam.
-
Mostlikely yes. It's not that devs dislike French in general and thus don't wanna put them in the game, hehe.
-
Any timegrame andlocation chosen will always get people who are not interested in it and people who are. Not really a shocker there. Saying it was an unwise move from developers is obviously not based on any serious grounds worth scrutiny. If you personally don't like it and wont't buy it it doesn't mean other customers share your views. It was said from devs that that particular timeframe was chosen exactly becuse of what I already wrote. I'm sure there were other reasons too. Just the fact they are still here and producing new games is a testament they got it right so far.

Yes, that's affirmitive. -
Polo, Bagration timeframe was choosen so that work needed on vehicles would be smaller then otherwise ie. most of the German vehicles were already done. Do you still think it was a stupid call?

If you have MG and CW icons in game main menu then you have them activated. Being able to play missions/campaigns requiring those two modules also means they are activated. -
Anybody that didn't play CMSF gonna get CMBS?
Hister replied to Mord's topic in Combat Mission Black Sea
I own CMBN and CMRT. If I would have strong financial income I would buy it. Will have to have it on hold for now. -
Has this been mentioned? CMRT BESTEST OF THE BEST!
Hister replied to MikeyD's topic in Combat Mission Red Thunder
It should be mentioned more by media, really. -

I'm not familiar with how macs work but you are probably messing things up by moving base install directory around. 1.3 patch uses new protection measures so that might be your culprit right there. -

Ooooh, I know what your issue is! You will want to change camera controls. Go to ingame options and change it! You can choose between 3 different camera control presets. Not sure which one brings your up and down arrows to what you want 'cos I'm not at home but do try each one and see the results. I might just have saved you of your frustrations. Well, at least I hope so. Happy new year. -

I bet you installed it in wrong directory. Copy paste directory address where RT main folder resides. If that ain't a culprit contact helpdesk. It might take them some time due to holidays though. Good luck.
