  1. Okay Chris, good to know. I hadn't gone in and checked before I posted. Gave me a chuckle, too, since every bug I have ever found when testing, save one, had already been reported. mjk "Least Efficient Beta Tester"
  2. Actually, I have noticed something similar, and maybe worse. ***POSSIBLE SPOILER*** In "Trouble with Siegfried" there are some AS that you cannot put a waypoint on...it's on a ridge in the woods on the left flank past/behind the pillbox. Imagine a box of AS 4x3...the two in the center, which are on a very slight ridgeline, cannot be "waypointed". I have saves and am going to put a report in Mantis, but probably wont get to it until later tonight.
  3. Lol, I knew immediately what you were referring to when I saw the title. My favorite was the German NCO Pohlman. I believe he was an 8-1, but don't remember his actual rank though, it was 30+ years ago!
  4. Max, you obviously have an Allied computer! Get an Axis one and all should be well, lol. This is a stumper. Are the mods in a folder within the mods/z folder named in such a way that they will load last, overriding any other German uniform mod that you may already have in there? (Although it sure doesn't sound like you have any other ones besides the ones you have been trying. Can you post a screen shot of your mods expanded? Maybe the hive will spot something.
  5. Out of command plus green/conscript will cause that pretty easily, at least from my experience. A bit strange for a regular unit, though. I suppose motivation level and out of command might, but I would have expected some casualties needed before they stayed that way the whole game. Still, c'est le guerre! YMMV
  6. Juju, that's why I figured it was out...hardly used and then withdrawn quickly. But glad it's in for variety.
  7. Nice, Juju! I always liked the Denison camo. And US Marine Corps camo is out, so not much left.
  8. Pffft. Birds, schmirds. Has anyone ever run soil tests on BFC's dirt renderings? My pixeltruppen spend copious amounts of time with their face in it, and most end up under it. So let's get it right, gentlemen!
  9. Lt. Bull, use the Mod Tools in the game's root folder. All CMx2 titles have it, and it is the same tool so you don't have to use, say the CMBN tool only for CMBN .brz's...you could use the one in CMRT for BN's brz's, for example. You take the brz, put it in the Input (?...been a while, but I think that's the name of the folder), it does a little magic/hootchey-koo/science and then an "exploded" folder appears and the game files are in there. Have fun!
  10. I knew that you were planting a spy all along. I have informed the proper authorities.
  11. No specific way that I have ever found, but have you tried re-facing commands? That usually solves related types of problems (like getting all of your AT crew to position within fortifications).
  12. There's a guy near Austin who's still waiting for a schwimmwagen, poor bast*rd!
  13. At the Scenario Depot III, under the CMMODS section, page 35, Phil: http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?paged=35
  14. But Harry, take into consideration Bulletpoint's comments about forests (I know you would have anyway...just showing support for Bulletpoint's...er, bulletpoints.)
  15. Yes, go for it, Harry. I'll even playtest it for you.
  16. Great, glad you found it, John. I usually get too impatient to finish out a campaign, but at least with this organizer, I have probably a hundred-plus more scenarios across all CM titles and modules to play. Btw, the same utility can be used on all CMx2 games. You don't need to dld separate ones for each game.
  17. Para, I can Dropbox a copy to you tonight when I get home if you can't locate it.
  18. Hey Para, you can use Mad Mike's Scenario and Campaign Organizer utility. You can extract all the battles in a campaign with it. It's been around for quite a few years, actually. Hopefully, it's been uploaded to the new Scenario Depot III. Cheers!
  19. Yes, they will override the corresponding default sounds.
  20. Max, Kohlenklau and Warts are right, just put the unzipped folders in your z/mod folder. You can make a master folder named Mord's Sounds or whatever if you want to keep your mods folder more organized. Mord put a helluva lot of work into that mod...I think something like 200+ individual phrases he did himself, which is a hoot when you think about him recording them. Anyway, like Warts said, you can choose to leave some out, but I use it for both BN and FI and will probably use it for FB as well. Good stuff!
  21. PhilM, I have always understood that each bullet (and piece of shrapnel???) are tracked, and when the trajectory intersects with a polygon on the 3D model, whether soldier, vehicle, tree or building, a hit calculation is made. If that is the case, then the actual animation stance would make a difference. I understand what you are saying, and it does make sense that the game engine would "read" the renamed animation as "standing" even though it looks like it's cowering...but apparently the actual placement of the model's polygons in game do make a difference...maybe, lol!
  22. ...aaaaand, he's outta here! Lol, when my kids were little, they'd try testing me after the Last Warning! Similar results.
  23. Phil, shoot it my way. You and I have never "tried conclusions" in all the time we've collaborated, and your mod has got me interested in NA. Let's rumble!
