Yes, the ability to breach an obstacle belt would be very useful.  It is possible with a flail tank in CMBN and CMFI.  But no breaching equipment in the modern titles.  Mines and the breaching of mine belts also feature in current events out of Ukraine.   

 
Just a simple mine plow tank or roller tank in Combat Mission Cold War would allow for more acurate recreations of many training missions at the NTC. 

 

I'm hopefully not making a faux pas by being new to the forum and making a request, but I was wondering if there were plans to add the combat engineering vehicles?  M728 CEV and Centurian Mk 5 AVRE with the BAOR expansion. I'm not sure for the Soviets. Personally I would love to try them out in MOUT, although leveling a building with one shot might be a bit overpowered. But will always be fun. They are both rather vulnerable to AT fire so getting close to town could be tricky.

my uncons just couldn’t get it done. I know some folks like playing with frustratingly underarmed and incompetent pixeltruppen, but that’s not my style.  The match began with a nice massacre ambush as your guys materialized on my gun sites in turn 1. But, then as things moved on,  My IED gunner was lit up trying to light the IED, and that was disappointing. He had two strykers in front of his IED.  I tried my luck with long range rpg shots and using a technical blockade on the bridge to slow your advance and that did not work out very well. Uncons have sh*t marksmanship. Once the rpg gunners were out of ammo it was time to run and hide the points. And run and hide we did. I was backed up into the last hidey holes on the back of the map. 
 
once I realized how fragile the uncons truly are, my US strategy was to kill them all, and I nearly did, leaving only two alive. But only after Elvis used his uncons to brilliantly overrun my scouts, killing almost all of them. When the rescue platoon arrived, I was seeing red and we decided to ‘do the whole village’ and despite heavy losses we went house to house and killed almost every damn dirty uncon we could lay our gunsites on.  
 
I did not think I would like this scenario but ended up enjoying it immensely. 
 
@BFCElvis did a great job commanding those uncons. 

Getting into the EU is quite a convoluted process, especially for a country as big as Ukraine. Integrating Mexico into the US would be a similar exercise.
I would not bet on anything less than 10 years in the future.

If that’s what makes a nuclear-armed cluster**** in post-war Russia unlikely to happen then, I mean… yeah?  Surely you wholeheartedly agree that said cluster-situation is worth avoiding?  So all that might be disagreed upon is how best to do that.

What’s your solution?  You don’t get to just say ‘Win the war ASAP!!’ and then put your fingers in you ears and pretend time stops at that point.  What does the real-life post-war Russia look like in your scenario and, critically, does it have sober control of its nukes?  If the answer is anything other than a solid ‘yes’, then we need to try harder, don’t we?
Russia invaded Ukraine. They are to blame for Ukraine’s suffering.  There is nothing we can do that will eliminate that suffering, now. All we can do is honestly and determinedly try to navigate the best path we can find from this point on.

Some Russian units are withdrawing from Ukraine (again, no sources linked, but Artur is quite reliable), but reportedly it is mostly about Spetsnaz, VDV and reserve formations. It still creates perfect condition for breakthrough and exploitation by the AFU. Fingers crossed they can grab the opportunity, Melitopol awaits!
 

Guys, just a friendly reminder: do not cite VS24 at basically anything without them providing other sources-  btw. even if they do gave them, they do not translate them correctly nor understand meanings. My advise, not directed at anyone particulary here, is to unfollow them altogether.
