CMA is quite underrated. A very interesting game. It would be great to see it updated.

I wonder will CMSF1 mods work with CMSF2.

Anyone interested in Ancients, and even if your not, Field of Glory 2 is an excellent war game. I bought it reluctantly but am very pleased that I did. It has lots of options and quite an active modding group. It is worth looking into.

Just as information the New Site does not keep me logged as I asked it too. I have to log in every time I visit the site. I wonder if others are having this happen?

I bought a convertible touch screen laptop PC as a replacement for my iPad 2. I enjoy it much more than the iPad. I found I could replace most of my Apple Apps with windows ones. With an optional digital stylus and wireless mouse, I paid half of what I would have for a new iPad with a keyboard and Apple Pen. Also with the PC laptop I can run full programs and games.

Solved. If you have set a zoom level under display settings in Win 10 then CMA will not run at desktop resolution. Disable any zoom and it works well. However the fonts are a bit rough at the edges.

Hi, I just bought a new laptop ( win 10, i5, 8g ram, 256GB SSD, integrated graphics card ). When I try to launch the game I am told that " cannot initiate graphics display. required: 1024 x 768, 32 bit." I have tried deleting the display file but that doesn't help. It re-scans but the problem persists. I have tried different compatibility modes but none of them work. If anyone has any ideas I would be happy to hear them.

I prefer smaller scenarios simply because I don't have time for the set- up and planning that large ones require. Once the planning and set up is done, a large battle plays quite smoothly. When I do have time for set-up and planning, I find larger battles are quite enjoyable.

CMBN is worth every penny for anyone with an interest in World War 2 and gaming. It is the most accurate tactical wargame I have ever played. It is well worth the price and has lots of content. I play by email and always have a number of games on the go. Single Player is also a lot of fun. I have been playing Combat Mission since the first game was available. There is really not any other wargame I know off that handles tactical combat so well.

Yes you do. For instance Vin's animated text can cause unit designations to show and read incorrectly.

Are you playing RT or Wego. Many players use RT for smaller battles and Wego for for the larger battles.

I wonder if someone can clarify this for me. I went to downloads for CMFI Engine 4. I saw the box to download the CMFI upgrade 4. However when downloaded it identifies as CMFI version 2. Is this just a file naming mistake and it is the proper version 4?
