My problem with futuristic versions is that automation, AI and drone development will gradually remove the human element. What makes CM for me is the immersion in the TAC AI and seeing how my pixeltruppen react. If one need not model morale or experience, the game becomes a lot less interesting or immersive for me.

Lol clear as mud. The gist was that Steve (to paraphrase) said he felt they were comfortably close to where he expected to be about now. Granted that isn’t exactly crystal clear either it does give one the impresssion we should not be far off either.

I can’t answer all that yet but just for grins and not in reference to QBs. In the editor you can switch around pretty much anything so you could give ravens to the uncons if you really wanted to. Theoretically speaking.

This whole discussion is a bit over the top, pages of you two arguing over something apparently no one else is concerned about, but hey if the two of you want to do that yeah - WhatsApp! one note that comments like above can get you a timeout from BF. It isn’t accepted. We all can get frustrated and short especially in an argument that just bounces back and forth like this, but both sides need to keep it civil. For me I don’t need someone arguing the return policy and I disagree, BFs product is stellar. Of course that is just personal opinion but there simply is nothing else to combare to it. No other game does 3D tactical combat particularly with infantry like combat mission. And I have never had cause to even consider a refund.

Umm yeah sure if you consistently produced a stellar product over 20 years, proved that you stood by your product etc. What you seem to be insinuating is that somehow those years and years of experience don't play a role here, like we are all some schmucks. I don't think CM can model that other than maybe by some messing with FIST/FO experience and the assets you give the force. It really comes down to are the assets there or not. From a Marine perspective you are bringing hem with you so they should be there. In my unlearned opinion.

I don't have to imagine, I'm reading it pretty close to real time. What exactly do you think you are protecting us from? Most of the folks on here are pretty familiar with Steve and BF and whatever frustrations folks may have about the communications level from BF, I don't think anyone doubts they will deliver on the product. I appreciate you protecting our consumer rights, but I only want one thing - the completed CMSF2 in my greedy little paws and I don't believe you can help with that. But thanks
