They could have moved, or depending on the type of missile involved it might not be terribly obvious who was carrying what, doubly so if they shot off all their ammo. A LOT of units carry missiles, keeping track of your own can be tricky at times. every single one matters .

CMH update for Black Sea?
dan/california replied to dan/california's topic in Combat Mission Black Sea
Just tried again, its not happy, swapping turns isn't the end of the world. it will keep me from trying to play 9 PBEMs at once. Anybody up for a game by the way? -

CMH update for Black Sea?
dan/california replied to dan/california's topic in Combat Mission Black Sea
I know exactly where it is. I am cut and pasting turns in an out manually like crazy. I just can't get the utility to accept the input I want to give it. It may be something strange in the latest Mac OS is unhappy with the mild hack I am attempting. I mean the game itself is running FLAWLESSLY. But automating all the turn shuffling would be nice. -

It won't let me do that, the menu item in question is grayed out. Thanks for responding. -
Use of mass Helicopters to attack enemy positions
dan/california replied to Pelican Pal's topic in Combat Mission Black Sea
Well, it was probably the least successful thing the U.S. tried in the Iraq War. Helos do not do well overflying large quantities of small arms. -
Is this going to happen? Tweaking the current Mac version into functionality with BS seems to be beyond me.

I need to convert a jpg. to a bmp so that I can pull it into the editor. Any way to do it for free?

Real info on quick kill notable by its absence. Schedules even more so. -
Ukranian AT-4C won't deploy?

OK, I suspect they just aren't going to live long enough. -
I am not even getting the option to give the command. Should they do it by themselves?

I used to do a little non-destructive testing as part my employment. The guy who certified me for that activity did the same for LOT of other organizations, like say naval shipyards. Either he could keep a complex story straight when several beers in at the end of the day, or the Soviet stuff was as dangerous to its own crews as anybody else. I am sure it has gotten better in the last ten years, that is not the same thing as caught up.
-
They are not nearly as good though. The Soviets/Russians have always been playing catch up in certain kinds of super high tech metallurgy. They made a specific submarine bulk head close to half a meter thick because they just couldn't get quality control in the plates. All their stuff is full of not so little complicated fudges like that. It is a big part of why Western commercial aircraft are so much safer.

If you are shooting at it, maybe someday. It will never work out to your benefit though.

Does it like Chrome? I couldn't get my registration to go yesterday.

Is the patch coming this week? I am going to hold of on some PBEMs if so.

Help with urban combat tactics

You only get friendly fire with things bigger than 7.62. Its an abstraction to keep the AI workload manageable. So you can have a couple of MMGs just keep up the suppression. DO NOT USE GRENADES THIS WAY. I will also point out that many IFVs have a LOT of 7.62mm. -
US military aid to Ukraine - no politics please

And irritated Super Powers do irritating things, like hack Russia out of the international banking system, and go looking for some "freedom fighters" of our own. I am sure there is an ethnic minority or twenty in Russia with something to be unhappy about. I wonder how many of them are in close proximity to gas pipelines?
