@Pandur Your whole post is rubbish and I really don’t feel like wasting too much time with you so I’ll just shoot one obvious hole into your claim about the Nazi’s not being racist. If the Nazi’s were only out to stop a religion and not a race, then why did they bother to take measurements of peoples facial bones? I.e. like measuring people’s noses and foreheads etc…………… I didn’t know by just changing religions my facial features would change. But just going by your grammar in your post you’re probably a genius that knows something I don’t.

I’m not at all a fan of the “what if you were there, what would you do in that situation” defense. I’ll break it down for you; if you saw a group of people in flashy uniforms beating and killing people because they were Jews would you want to join? I mean they do have flashy uniforms. You also have to remember before the war the SS and SA were responsible for a lot of civil unrest, so its not like young men joined the SS unknowing of what the SS stood for. Everyone who joined went in with open eyes and knew what kind of an organization it was. To use your example of the KKK; it would be like some American joining the KKK and then not understanding why people thought he was a racist bastard. It just didn’t happen that way; everyone knew what they were doing. I also hate moral equivalence. Just for the record the KKK was and is a stupid social club, not a unit in the US Army, so there goes your argument about that.

I'd be more than happy to pay $20 or so for a patch that included all of this. They could set it up easily one would think. Like how people have ordered SC2 digitally I'm sure the same could be done for a patch. I think this would be something easily fixed, like I can't imagine it would take more than a couple of months to put all of this on a patch. It would be easy money. Hopefully an admin is taking note and is thinking of doing something like this, maybe in time for the CMC release.

Uhm, what if you are attacking and the enemy has Tigers and all you have is Sherman’s (75mm), are you just going to hide your armor and hope for the best from your infantry? I've surprised many opponents that have superior armor than I. In fact I find it easier to attack an enemy who has a superior tank than defend with an inferior tank force. Reason being; in an attack you can maneuver your weaker tanks into good flanking positions for a nice flank shot. Where as if you’re defending it’s hard to move your armor around with out the fear of giving away a flanking shot. Just my opinion.

Why can't I take over the country West of Tunisia? I was playing with the Axis last night and had my Romans take Tunisia from the French and the town to the west of the capital. Once the Germans captured Paris and France surrendered Tunisia claimed independence and kicked my Italians back to Libya automatically. When I re-conquered Tunisia I still wasn’t allowed to declare war on whatever country that was to the west. I’d like to take it because the port South of Casablanca would be valuable to my subs. Has anyone else run into this problem? Is it a bug?

Yea this worked for me as well in the recent George MC made operation. One of my HT's got bogged in the snow but as another HT passed it like 30 seconds later it bumped it from the back and kind of knocked it side ways and low and behold it freed it's bogged comrade. So I think this does work.

I like reading your AAR’s. My observation though; maybe if you didn’t play with those rule’s the game would have ended differently. Like if you just played the game as it was made maybe things would have ended differently. So I don’t know how much is the game’s fault or your rules. I’d be interested to see you play HR again or one of the testers with no rules imposed other than the ones the game already has.

I carried the SAW for three years and never had a problem with jams. It's hard to keep really clean due to all the lube it use's for the bolt etc.... The lube tends to collect a lot of dirt but no more than any other weapon. I just cut down on how much oil I used. Mine weighed about 27 pound's with all the optic's on the weapon. If you have a hundred round nut sack on it, it weigh's about 30lb's. But towards the end of my service we were given a 12 inch barrel that made it less ackward for CQB. Today we use the MK 46 which weigh's like 4 lb's naked. It's a better gun but thats not saying the saw was bad. The guy you saw carrying the 240B 7.62 was probably part of a gun team consisting of three soldiers. Trust me no one would carry that beast as a individual weapon. You can't shoulder fire it very effectively if at all plus you can't carry enough rounds by yourself to make it worth your while.

I was hoping some one was going to bring this up. You see the Indians did the same thing. The Indians “invaded” the North American continent as well. They used the Bering Strait to come to North American from Asia. So really the whole invasion thing is a bad point for you to bring up. Peoples move, whether it is the Indians from Asia or whites from Europe.

This is crazy. The Irish and Scot’s got horrible treatment from the British but no one seems to think that was racist. The Romans defeated the Gaul’s and that doesn’t seem to be considered racist. But some how the Indians losing to the US is racist? Most Europeans live on land today that were not their ancestors native lands so should we try to find the rightful owners and move all Europeans back to were they came from? Do not most “White Russians” come from Scandinavia? Aren’t they descendants of Vikings? So we will have to move all of them out of the Ukraine because even though all this took place like 1000 years ago it’s still unjust and I’m sure the steppe people would much rather go back to the old ways of 1000 years ago. Wow, millions, now it's really getting outrageous. Just because you know a tiny bit about history such as the US took over Indian lands. Doesn’t mean you know the whole story, it’s obvious you don’t if you think that millions died. Then to equate that to the holocaust is just another example of how little you know. Plus I never said what happened was right I just clearly stated that to compare that to the holocaust is ridiculous. Plus I don’t see why some feel that they need to bring America into everything. Why couldn’t he have listed any other countries misdeeds if he was trying to make a moral equivalence? Why is the US always tied into something evil like the holocaust?

Of course everything comes back to being "America is just as evil". Obviously you have no idea about what happened at wounded knee or any idea about the American and Indian wars. It was nothing like putting jews in the gas chamber among other things. Honestly I have no idea how your statement equates to anything to do with scenario design. Plus I don't think Jason meant people actually think that Nazism is a good thing. I think he meant people beleive Nazi equipment is so much better than anything the allies had so they make these scenario's that aren't accurately representing force mixture and calling it historical.

I really don't think people make crazy scenarios because they want to make people believe that Germans were unbeatable soldiers, because we all know how WW2 ended. I think it's just like what was stated before; German tanks are sexier than Russian tanks to most people. I personally prefer Russian equipment but I am by no means a commie sympathizer. It seems like most new players always pick the Germans, and when you crush them with the Russians they act surprised. So I think it’s just that most people hear about how some Tigers faired well in WW2 but they tend not to here how the other 98% of the panzer arm faired, because it wasn’t as interesting to hear I “fired at a T-34 and KO’ed it then his 10 buddies shot at me and blew my tank up.” It’s way more interesting to hear how a Tiger was pinged over a hundred times and the crew lived to talk about it.

I agree with the Para's being about right. They are expensive and not really any more powerful than any of my other units. They are great if used right. Like I've stated before I haven't played SC1 but I have played other games like this in the past so it was fairly easy to pick up the basic's. My questions are; can the para's be redeployed and jump some where else after they've made one jump or is there a time limit, like you have to wait a month or two before you can jump again? Also if a country decides to side with you through dilpo, do you receive more troops or just more mpp's? Lastly how do you move your aircraft to a more forward position? Do they have to be in range of an HQ and if so how do you assign units to a specific HQ or is it just you have to be in range of an HQ with enough slots to take an additional unit?

I'm having the same problem as rambo. The axis units on main-land europe and some ships in the ocean aren't showing up. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening? I could see if it was every unit, but it is just the axis in both scenarios and the ships in the 1940 scenario.
