  1. Time tends to wash away all sins. I think that is the case with this author. I think it also applies to people around the wourld when they say Mao was a great and just leader but tend to forget the 35-70 million people he killed.
  2. The void has been filled. Thanks to all those who picked up the colors.

  6. How funny, everyone’s speculating on what he meant to say. Well here is my speculation, I think he just for what ever reason wants to end a game with no HE. There’s no reason behind it other than he wants to end the game with no HE.
  7. Was the Panther in line of sight originally and just backed behind the factory? Or did your Su-85 just see him through the wall? In my Cmak game currently; I tryed to run a sherman across this field and behind a tall building. Well sure enough he drew the attention of the Stugs and Panthers in the town, but made it safely behind the tall light building. Or so I thought. Like five seconds later a SP gun wacked me and KOed the tank. It was strange because all the other enemy tanks stopped targetting me as soon as I was behind the building except the SP gun.
  8. It will ko light armor. It just doesn't tell you detailed pen data like it does when you shoot something with an AT gun.
  9. I don’t appreciate your tone windy. I did watch the film. From your comments I take it that you are ignorant on how a machine gun works. It’s not like a shot gun or rifle where you shoulder fire them and you will get a sore shoulder from recoil. If you noticed in the film her hands vibrated. Hardly a thing that is going to make her be sore all night. It’s kind of like when you hit a baseball with a bat wrong and it vibrates your hands. Lastly if you happened to notice her father didn’t force her to keep shooting, she probable just wanted to try it out. So her father let her try it out. Big deal. That’s why it’s a cultural thing. People who live in big cites like Chicago aren’t used to shooting guns off in their backyards (or at least I hope not) but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong if you live out in the middle of no where. Some kids grow up with soccer or baseball or football which makes kids sore after a game or practice. But does that make sports wrong for kids? NO. So relax and just enjoy the video.
  10. WindyCity: The machine gun was on a tripod, which means there isn't any bad recoil to deal with. So I doubt her shoulder is very sore since her thumbs were the only part of her body to touch the weapon. On another note I think its just a culture thing. I don't see anything wrong with a child shooting a gun under the supervision of her father. Its not like she was doing crew drills with two other children in the woods unsupervised. She was at a range in a controlled enviroment shooting from a tripod with her father standing right there.
  11. I've been reading up about this game recently, and am pretty excited. I have a question though. I always read people comparing this game to other games. So I will ask: is this game kinda simular to the SSI seris of panzer general/allied general for the PS1? I understand a lot of other cool features are added, I'm just trying to get a feel for the type of play this game offers, since I haven't played any of the other games I sometimes see this game compared to.
  12. Those look really great. I will DL them when I get home.
  13. MikeyD, you really need to do one. You should start concentrating more on Cmak tanks.
  14. I totally agree with you. I always thought the Mp44 was vastly understreghted. I think it should be the best small arm in game. At least 50 at 40m, the same as the Ppsh. Then at 100m it should be bumped up as well. Like I said it should be modeled as the best small arm weapon in game yet keep it at the current issue level in squads because one or two in a platoon is accurate. With your first point I also agree. I just noticed this the other day and thought my game was just messing up or something. I hope they do release a patch for this and they should because even though this is an old game, it is still more popular than any other game of this type out there. People are still buying this game new now.

  16. Ouch Jason C. I normally hate it when the designer locks units in the set up. The only reason I could see doing this, and I've done this in a scenario, is to simulate a suprise attack. In this case I only locked the defenders. Anyways, some very good points and loads of help for designers.
  17. Man awesome mod as always dude. I have these building mods for CMAK too. Keep up the good work. Viva la France.
  18. If you are interested in playing send me your email address so I can give to your opponents when the tourney starts. My address is in my profile. Thanks

  20. I don't think fighting in the Syrian cities will be any harder than the Iraqi cities. Look at Falluja (sp), Bagdad, Basra, or any other speed bump. And why would the US just decide to part with doctrine and just send the stykers in. See my point. [ December 13, 2005, 02:17 PM: Message edited by: zmoney ]
