Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm going to go with the scoring system TedR suggested in his post at MZO. If at all possible it would be easier if you could all post at mzocentral in order to sign up. I will still be takeing names from here though, but it would just be easier to have them all in one spot.

Try going to your D drive and doing the install manualy. Start/my computer/double click on the D drive which should say Cmak. That should work. Post back if it doesn't.

I dont know how Zukov got on the list, but ok. I defenitly think the greatest of all times is temujin.

My earlier post was referring to the fuel tanks carried on the outside of the actual tank. Of course if someone hit the inner tanks that would destroy the tank due to engine damage.

I'm positive no tank was destroyed by their fuel tanks. Honestly I think if a tank was destroyed as a result of someone shooting the tank, the tankers would have taken them off. Plus in all the books I've read, I've never heard of a commander saying "shoot at the fuel tanks, that will damage the tank". On a final note most tanks back then used diesel fuel which dosn't burn so easily. So a rifle shot wouldn't even ignite the fuel most likely.

But like Andrew said the Russians in game and in RL tended to use their advantage in numbers and close range weapons to their advantage. Thats why the infantry units in game are so cheap. That really goes for just about all russian equipment in game. Also like stated before the MG42 was a much more powerful weapon than the Russian maxim, and had more penetration value. So thats why your Russian crew backed off. IMO the Russian equipment all around, wheather it be armor or infantry weapons are way better suited up close. Like the tanks with thick armor values, quick speed and poor optics were designed to close with the enemy. Smg sqauds as well are second to none at close range and in an urban environments. Where as Germans with great optics, high powered guns and slower speed makes them better for longer range fighting. Lastly, I'm not 100% sure maybe Jason C or some other knowledgeable person can correct me; The German Pioneer units were elite troops where as the Russian Pioneers wheren't, they where just dudes tasked with that job. So that might explain the German Pioneers spoting better than their Russian counter parts. P.S. I think/ hope tagwyn was complimenting the designers on how good of a job they did modeling different units strengths and weakness's, like I kind of attempted to explain between the pioneer units of each country. Corvidae, people like you are ridiculous. To my knowledge the people of germany arn't being respressed by some empire. In fact the economy is great, maybe even because that evil empire helped them get back on their feet. So open your stupid comment makeing eyes. It shouldn't matter how old someone is, if they committed crimes then they should pay.

Pad and everyone else, your not getting the point. The point is, women are not part of major ground combat operations. I'm not saying women don't get shot at or women dont get blown up by IED's. All I'm saying is that they are not in any ground combat arms unit. They are not purposely put on the front line.

Those aren't really combat missions. In Faludga I dont believe the Marines took women along to search other women. Units sometimes take females along when they set up road blocks or other noncombat operations. I repeat, when combat is expected women are not brought along. Personally I think the Army should set up an experiment battalion consisting of women only. And let them see some combat to see how they do. I'm sure they would do fine. But my main point is, its silly to waste time on all the defferent graphics of people. Would it really make a defference to you if they didn't have a woman modeled in? I just dont see how that would effect game play. Pretty soon BFC is going to have uniforms with no soldier in them running around, so as to not offend anyone.

In fact I think only two or three of the guys actually engaged the enemy. So I'm not saying gals can't fight, just that they don't. And lastly if gals had so much more mental toughness and physical stamina on average then why haven't they been the ones who have filled the ranks of infantry through out the ages?

Man this is a really good idea I think it would be great if they looked into it. It is pretty realistic too, because big defending armies always have reserves to throw in, in case of a deep penetration. I also like the idea of partisans poping up in certain villages. I think if it happened in every village though it might not be so good or realistic. But still a very good idea.
