  1. Smoke may also help them get closer to thier intended victims on the advance.
  2. I've not played either but if i did I would prefer live, not email.
  3. Vrroom vroom! Clank clank clank! Those are really neat....if pricey.
  4. You talking about robbing Battlefront on thier own website?
  5. I understand there was a lot of quality control issues with Russian AP shattering on face hardened armor. Read that in some book a while ago but can't remeber which.
  6. Maybe the rifle bullets detonated a flak shell.
  7. You could move them forward depending on terrain and get them set up out of sight, in hopes that you can lure the advancing enemy into thier sights.
  8. US Army Air Corps. I'll let everyone else roll around in the mud.
  9. If you have some smoke you can blanket the village to get your t-34's in closer. The russian 76mm won't do much to the tiger but you can knock out the MK IVs and maybe get lucky and immob or damage the tiger's gun. Still....expect a lot of dead tanks.
  10. I just got 2 discs and a vertabrae removed from my neck on the 20th. How's that for fun?
  11. Just burned out a buttoned Tiger in one squirt this eve.
  12. The point is the crew is still valuable...so you need to get them to high tail it out of there before your opponent kills them for victory points. Sometimes though, a crew can do some damage though, particularily from a large vehicle...I've seen them take out teams and squads while they were hunkered down in a building before I could get them out of the way.
  13. Looks too...neat? Looks more like an army camp with everything laid out with precision.
  14. Killed a Tiger with an American 155mm hit before and killed King Tiger/Panthers with 122mm & 152mm Russian artillery along with numerous other less hardy vehilcles of many nantionalities. Immobilized quite a number as well.
  15. With his last breath, the grenadier took out his tormenter, sealing both thier fates to the beyond.....
  16. Some open terrain is good or the map seems too cluttered. You have to use different tactics for overcoming open spots as well so it adds more dimensions to it.
  17. Subtle elevations, realistic looking terrains. Personaly I love fights centered around small villages.
  18. I bought this cute liitle game for one of my male friends once called Potty-shots to teach him how to actually pee in the toilet and not all over the seat, the floor, the wall..... It was these little paper ships he could toss in the toilet bowl and "sink" with his urine cannon for different point values. You know a Destroyer worth like 10 and an aircraft carrier like 100.
  19. I'd read it. Certainly need more stuff to read while at work.
  20. Can buy off the site here. That's what I did.
  21. And if your advancing across some open terrain to GET to the town...smoke smoke smoke!
  22. I'm 34. My First was Blitzkrieg. A history teacher I had was a wargamer and he offered extra credit for playing and discussing tactics during the parts involing war history. I enjoyed the games and been playing them ever since. (Oh, and got straight A's in his class too).
  23. When I work weekends I bring in my old, water damaged, and battered B-17 Queen of the Skies solo board game. Otherwise I play Anarchy Online, Railroad Tycoon 3 and now Pirates!
