I kind of thought we were already there.  Unfortunately for China they are finding out their ally is ridiculously incompetent.

It would be nice if this thread focussed solely on military aspects of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. Its like the slower pace of Russian advance has given us all a pause to breathe and absorb while they stagger forward/regroup, giving us time to get distracted by dramatic, useless, irrelevant clickbait garbage. 
I don't want to sound dogmatic/snotty, but....I personally have no interest in Taiwan, in regards to this invasion - I do see the correlations/parallels/implications ref that island, and it certainly would be fascinating in another thread, but here its a distraction of pure speculation.

Well quite clearly to my mind at least any statements   about  American/Ukrainian Perfidy  around Bio weapon installations in the Ukraine  coming from The Russian MoD or any Chinese Government source can quite clearly be ignored as propaganda . If that's not clear to you then  so be it .  But I don't for 1 minute buy into any of your paranoia  . The problem right now is open Russian aggression and War crimes in the Ukraine .  Stories from the protagonists  providing some sort of justification for such actions are entirely for  propaganda purposes .

LOL the good old I was just asking questions defence. Asking odd / bad / misguided / misleading questions can still be part of or help the enemy propaganda. Any facility that has some danger surrounding it would be a concern during war. Take nuclear power plants same thing. We should be concerned that the Russian army fights for or takes control of anything that could be dangerous. Obviously. But to say it is concerning does not indicate some nefarious activity is going on there. That's a supposition that has no basis and therefore should be dismissed. If someone comes up with some actual evidence of nefarious activity sure ask way but to conclude that dumb questions are being dismissed means nefarious things is incorrect.

Every single country has biolabs researching pathogens, unless it's an absolute backwater ****hole with zero medical research budget.
Because to produce meds you need that stuff you are targeting with meds to test meds against.
Saying that "omg a country has biolabs with dangerous viruses" is a great argument only for absolutely uneducated people who have zero clue about how medicine works. E.g. not very intelligent conspiracy consumers.

Very probable except 5 and 7. I doubt Chinese government will urge Zelenskyy to accept Russian terms. The most probable stance is asking both sides(perhaps all sides that are interested in the crisis) to 'talk'. An useless stance to improve the situation but I bet China will keep such stance. 
And it's highly improbable that China will involve in the separatists' referendum because it has its own separatists'  problem too. That's why it keeps claiming that China supports the territory integrity of Ukraine.
The war actually is undermining China's economic interest as China is Ukraine's largest trading partner. However, China won't condemn Russian invasion as long as it needs Russian gas and if Sino-US relationship keeps deteriorating. 

To be honest I don't see Moldava or Georgia actually joining EU anytime soon. Ukraine might have more chance but they won't get a free pass. So think like 5-10 years, probably.
There is of course ceremonial value in applying for membership and having that granted.

I  would like to ask though, if you have already posted on your opinion on what NATO/The West should do/ Should have done please refrain from constantly doing so, unless their is a change in the situation. It is getting somewhat spammy
