What is the point of Achievements.The only game i have tried that had them was L4D and i got bored trying to get them within about a week.I'm not a console gamer and don't need artificial reasons to keep trying.

I just set it to only come on when need it.As i only need it when i'm gaming then i can't see the problem.If i'm not gaming its off.Unless i want to chat to a mate while i'm downloading porn which in that case i'll turn it on. But i will put up with its faults for the ease of meeting fellow gamers.

PSP is used by people like me who can't use PS as its too much.PSP was a simple but capable graphics program which was also in the price range of mere mortals.I have now got PSP 8 and you know what,Its too complicated for me know.i may go back to PSP6. I must be a luddite.

I don't get the steam bashing either.I wasn't a big fan when it first came out.All this game updating bollocks and the like seemed like spying to me. But after seeing x box live and how good that is i now understand more what steam is trying to do. I like the games being kept up to date.I like the friends side of it and knowing who is online.I like seeing what game they are playing and being able to invite people into a game(Left 4 dead).It saves trying to find which server they are on. Its not perfect but its getting better and better.in fact i can see most games going this way as its becoming a way of life for me online.the instant contact side of it is brilliant.the fact you can set up and join like minded groups. In fact i don't even think about the fact that steam fires up when i launch a game.its just the way it is.

Apparently a good defrag does wonders.steam apparently sticks the files all over the place.This is from the total war forums.

We saw a morris dancing group years ago at Aylesbury who performed in and around the stone circle.They were all dressed in black outfits which were made by hanging strips of fabric off their clothes.They all had blacked out faces or animal masks and had guitars and drums for the music.They were awesome.It turned out they were on the same camp-site as we were so we ended up partying with them for the night.What a brilliant way to do bank holidays. But i must admit i like seeing Morris men.Plus they only do it for the beer.A pint at each pub is the rules.

Glad you found them easy to use. But i can't take any credit for them.I just rewrote them in an easier to understand format.

I was to ashamed to admit this.

We went for a quick walk past Wheatcrofts place today.It would seem that he has just got or is having a bit of a move round.but i managed to see the front of 2 Shermans parked out side with what looked like a Panther turret with its front missing..Plus a pile of Rusty cannon barrels in his back garden amonsgt some WWII lorrys. I have always though that he had some very rusty wheel sets from an 88.But today i'm sure that he had a complete but tatty 88 gun there as well. I have just joined the Vintage Motor Cycle Club.I bring this fact up as they have runs in the summer to various private collections.So i may see if we can get a visit to see what this guy as got.

Thats strange as on the version of this show seen in the UK they featured a Panther which is owned by the Wheatcroft family.We walk past his house when ever we go for a stomp in the country .I recall walking past his house and seeing a Spitfire parked up in his back garden(though the hedge i might add).He has massive storage buildings on his land stuffed full of god knows what.

Couldn't agree more here mate. Me and my mates are loving this game.Its a case of fire the game up and steam tells you if your mates are online(just like x box live).you can drop in and out of games as you like invite mates in,chat with its inbuilt voice stuff and basically shoot Zombies all night.2 of us have nearly finised each capter but are stuck on the final map in each one.We are waiting for a night when we finally get four online at once. The point about the ammo loadout and health system are a no better or worse than anyother typical FPS. But i just love this game as its a laugh out loud game.Molotoving your mates by mistake,getting boomered then huntered and smokered all at once then and then getting the tank to snot you as well in verses is a laugh. Playing verse and actually managing to take a fellow human down for the first time as a hunter is fun. The co op works brilliantly in this as you get more points in verses for ever person left at the end of each round. Plus playing the missions on difficult means you must have 4 people left to stand any chance of finishing.This is the only online game where total strangers work together with out being told to do it.If you get huntered or boomered you need help if they leave you you are dead.so you must stick together and work as a team.To hear 4 strangers co operating using voice is great. I would recommend this game to any FPS lover.Its engine is ideal for a Co op aliens type game or a Starship troopers Co op game. Any game makers should be forced to play this game as it is so right in just about every department.It needs a few tweeks in verses like reducing the spawn for the infected side to counter the run through humans but other wise as an out the box game its awesome. Any one who wants to play this game check me out on steam and i'm up for some co op fun.

I must admit i'm playing Left 4 dead at the moment.Its a Zombie survival game.with 4 characters.You can play solo or up to 4 player co op.Plus 4 V4 in the verses game. I'm loving it at the moment playing with some mates who are mic'ed up.Its a laugh and has many funny moments in it.Like Molotoving your mate as he lays down getting a good shoeing by a load of zombies. so i would look into this game as well.How long this game will hold its appeal i don't know but i have had my moneys worth already from it Its on steam and in the shops.

Apparently they are working on a few issues with regard to the tank side combat.Its very much a case of get it out and then tweek it.So i'm willing to give them some leeway at the moment.But the Vickers is fun.Machine gunning the 88 mm AT gun crew is fun.In fact i like the Vickers.
