It doesn't matter what colour they paint the Strykers. The still look s***. Or maybe they should paint them in that digital camo so they don't blend in anywhere.Plus that will make them look even more s*** than they do now.

Well i have been trying out this bit of kit and am rather underwhelmed to say the least.My major issue is that i need to be logged into my Google account for it to work,which is a bit of a bummer as i hardly use it. So i can't see me getting much use out of this.My mate who invited me is the same as his browser doesn't like wave at all.So he forgets to use it. I think that is down to choice most coffins i have seen have had handles.Even my mates wicker coffin had them.

I agree with this.plus i saw a vid of one being carried today and the 6 guys looked like they were struggling to carry it.It easier to carry it at shoulder height as 6 people are the norm as pall bearers over here. This makes more sense if you must carry one without using your shoulders.But doing it with bent arms just seems a strange thing to do

I have been watching the news over here lately.They have been going on about the number of troops getting killed in Afghanistan(both UK and yanks). Now i have seen something which interests me.If you see photo of any Brit coffins being unloaded/carried by fellow troops they are all draped in the union flag and carried on the shoulders.When they march off the ramp they have one guy in front walking backwards who puts his hand on the front of the coffin to help steady it.All the time the coffin is carried on the shoulders of 6 guys.As happens if you go to a "normal" funeral for a non military guy. After seeing a few images and video shots of the same thing happening in the states i have a question.Over there they seem to carry the coffin at about waist height.Is this a military thing over there or is this normal for any funeral?

I was stood in a line of people waiting to pay for a game last Christmasat one of my local gaming shops .Behind me as was a mother of around 35 years.She was holding a few games for a one of her kids.While we were waiting her younger kid(around 12 years old) had been looking at a game to buy and turned up with GTA.He says can i have this mum?.She looked at it and said i'm not sure. So i turned round to her and said."if you are happy for you child to be playing a game which contains drugs,hookers,and killing then thats fine.She looked shocked and said no. Now is it me but dosn't GTA and any other game like this have an age limit and lots of warning signs on them?Can't adults read any more?

I can't comment on the cost of the PC version apart from it being £40 on steam.But i do know the xXbox version has been bumped up to around £44 over here in the UK. But we ended up shopping around for it on the day of release and got 2 copies for £25 each from my local supermarket.

No mate i buy older cars as i hate spending money on cars.But yet again when teamed with an auto transmission.Funny that thats twice in once post you back up what i say about need to change gear every 5 yards. I love the whole driving experience and driving an auto leaves me cold.But then i do like treating my petrol car like a single speed every now and then and sticking in one gear for as long as possible.IE in traffic(20 to 40mph ) i will plonk it into second and drive on throttle,because i can.Oh and by the way i only brought up the racing away from the lights to show what i meant about TDI's. I also learnt all about a high corner speeds and not braking if possible due to 5 years driving a 1200cc Lada years ago.

No they are not mate. I hate diesels.The fact you need how many gears to get any where.We are up to 7 gears now aren't we.The fact they have a power band of what 2000/3000 revs.The fact that you are comparing a turbo to a normal aspirated car.Why not try it against a turbo petrol for a fair comparison.Oh thats right petrol cars don't need a turbo unless they are stupidly fast sports cars. Diesels are good on long journeys but around town you are changing gear every five foot.I drive 2lt Renault Laguna(the old shape) I can go from 10MPh up to 70 MPH in second gear(can you in a diesel). I was late for work once and floored it away from some lights.I looked in my mirror and a Gold (TDI as i found out later) was up my chuff.So i just kept in second and floored it.He just about kept up with me but lost ground on every gear change.I lifted off at 70 and then dropped into 5th. I will admit the new ones are awesome bits of kit.But i know 6 people who have had to have the turbos replaced on diesels.I will stick with my petrol thanks as i like having fun while driving.

I just don't see this raving about Serinty.I saw the film for the first time a couple of weeks ago and turned it off after about 3/4 of an hour.What a pile of old crap. The many cowboy references pissed me off no end.

My biggest let down at the moment is CoH.I got this game about a year ago and had a quick play through the single player.Its got lots of faults and the health bars on vehicles pisses me off no end.But i uninstalled it when none of my mates got it.I would have gone multiplayer but by the time i got the game everyone had been playing for months so i would have got spanked every time i tried to play. But one of my mates has just got the game so we can multiplayer.So i downloaded CoH and OF off steam and i can't connect online for some reason.This has been going on for a week now. So this week i deleted CoH from steam and installed my CD copy.What a joke. 3 frigging nights updating and patching what seems like about a million patches.All to play an average RTS.talk about a let down.We have been waiting 3 nights now to have a 1v1 bash.Plus i'm not entirely sure that when i reinstall OF on steam(due to both games being installed and un installed at the same time nice one valve) that it will not overright my hopefully working copy of CoH. Ihate relic at the moment

my mate who is up on these CMS progs has agreed to help me get me over the hump.But we have decided a Wiki type approach would probably be th best approach.Is there a wiki type prog that lets you upload files as well as write stuff? It for zips of workshop manuals and the like.

I am in the process of designing a website for a group of online folks.Now i am ok doing most things but what i am after is a way of having an area where registered people can upload info like files of workshop manuals and other techie stuff like that.I have got a gallery for photos and would like something similar for files No i am not sure if a database is right for this or if there is something else around (which is free) which i could use. As i am not sure what i am looking for its made it very hard to find what i want. Any one got any ideas? A nice and simple one would be good as well.

There is also the thought that maybe if Peterson and Flintoff hadn't been f***ing greedy and gone chasing the money in the IPL,then maybe they wouldn't both have been so crippled.I can't imagine either of them were destitute and need the stupid amounts of money they were paid.

We can't be arsed mate.We beat an average team with a slightly below average team.So whats to gloat about.Plus now its only being shown on SKY TV the viewing figures have dropped from around 9 million in 2005 to around 1.5 million this time.So most of us haven't seen it.So its sort of passed us by.
