  3. This waiting time being endured by all you gentlemen could be most profitably spent sending your letter, card, or postcard telling Seanachai how much you hate him. Details here: Bugger the Demo, Sod Pre-Ordering, Read In Order To Let Seanachai Know You Hate Him</font>
  4. You on sucka! E-mail me as soon as you get, and I'll do the same. We'll set up a playdate then! Make sure your mommie will let you out, and bring lots ah booze.
  5. That's great news Tom! Although I'd hate to deal with it, you should get some advertisments going on your site to offset the cost.

  10. It's not as hard as you might think. They could probably ship a thousand or so a day. It depends on the manpower at the shipping location. I used to pick up (when I worked for Airborne Express) from world known business, Insect Lore. They would fill sometimes one and a half of our vans with packages that took quite a bit of care in preping for shipment. We're talking five to eight-hundred packages! And they were a pretty small operation (25 employees). CMBB basicly is just tossing a book and a disk into a cardboard envelope. I think they will probably ship a lot in the first two days. And no, I'm not excited. I'M GOING FREAKING NUTS!!
  11. I had a friend that recently passed that drove a Sherman into a German tank and flipped it over. The tank was up atop a hill near by and he charged it with his Shermie. All the other troops and AFVs were falling back at that time because the Germans had broke the American's morale with a suprise flank. Anyway, his surprise counterattack scared the Germans and they begain to fall back themselves! After the battle, his commander came up to him and said: "Damn it! I wish I had three hundred of you! The war would be over in a month!" In another interesting story, he told me of how he was driving (with the tank fully unbuttoned) once and switched seats with one of the other crewmen because they were getting bored after a few hours on the road. Five mins later, with the other person now doing the driving, he sat enjoying his break when all of the sudden the Germans begain shelling the convoy. One of the first rounds dropped right into the driver's seat (killing his friend) and brewing up the tank. He and the rest of the crew bailed without any injuries. He said it was the nearist he ever came to death durring the war. [ September 13, 2002, 11:29 PM: Message edited by: Vader's Jester ]
  12. It's good for more than just three for sure! I was just wondering what direction the tourney was going to take.
  13. Hey TB, we gonna do round 2 BB style? With the new QB editor, it'll be a snap for yah to whip up some fresh scenarios.
  14. Hey Lawyer, can you send that one to me? I love the old Soveit Union anthem. It sounds so epic and patriotic. And no, I am not a communist. Pardon the spelling, I'm a little saused.
  15. They said by Sept 20th. The demo was released earily. Who knows, maybe. . .
  16. I can see knowing the experience level. Troops that are tripping over themselves and being yelled at by a squad leader that keeps scanning the battlefield like a scared sheep are green/conscript. Those that are advancing under heavy fire and using cover with almost no direction from their detirmined looking SL are probably veteren/elite. But weapons? At most distances (without binocs) all small arms in the hands of troops should look like sticks. I don't think a unit should know what an enemy squad's weapons are unless they have been ID'd at a close distance. And that goes for knowing the rank as well.
